I don't know if this would even be possible but seeing how a lot of people make spelling mistakes maybe having a spell check implemented into the forum when making a post. This might cut down on the spelling errors

There is a spell check button already, but for some reason not everyone can see it. I can't see it, but I know it's supposed to be next to the A/A (Switch Editor Mode) button at the top right above the smilies.

Firefox is so full of win, I don't know why not everyone uses it. It has a built in spell checker for every text box-type div.

There is already a spell check implemented within the vBulletin boards. Check out skillets ultimate guide to the forums:
10: Ten should be your best friend on this forum. It's the Spell Check button. Click this and it will point out spelling errors for you. It's pretty self explanatory. There are a couple other buttons here, as well. The first two make the quick reply box larger or smaller. The last one switches the editor to a different text mode.
