This is the location of all 23 schematics and 20 bobble head locations.

Sorry to be a pest but is it possible to also put down which Bobbleheads could be missed?

I know the Vault 101 Bobblehead can be.

Good call on this. Collection achievements that give you a limited time to get one or some of the items really piss me off. Other than that, awesome guide.

I know the Vault 101 Bobblehead can be.

vault 101: two chances to get it, at the beginning of the game, and during the homefront quest.

ravenrock: you only have one chance to get it, when you enter edens chamber, the door locks behind you, so no going back.

Be careful not to let it say "Prima" anywhere on the scan, as that's an offense punishable by death (or so it seems).

The admins are just worried about copyright infringement is all, even Future Press would probably be a problem, but I don't think they put it on every page. Oh well, if there's something wrong they can delete the post. Keep up the good work on the guide.

Could anyone actually explain in detail how these zones and LAT/LONG coordinates make are to be read? They really don't make a lick of sense on the in game map, no matter how I count. :)

That doesn't work at all for me. I can't make any sense of the numbers at all.

Apparently some people have figured out the coordinates. Anyone care to help out?

HiMyNameIsMikey
10-31-2008, 10:54 PM
From what I understand there are 51 ticks on each end of the map, going from
-30 to 20 for the Latitude, and -20 to 30 for the Longitude. The big ticks in the centers are 0. Yes you have to count it out.

I think the zone numbers are really the time, the writer might not know what he's talking about.

Keep in mind this guide is copy/pasted from gamefaqs, check there for the updated one.

EDIT: I think i figured it out. Start at the lower left corner of the screen. For Latitude count right starting at -30 and for longitude count up starting at -20. So far I've been able to find a coupl places doing this. I still dont know wtf a zone is.

FLO
10-31-2008, 11:58 PM
I've heard the zones are actually related to the game's guide., but who knows?

And the lat's/long's are uneven? How the hell does that work when the big tick is dead center.
:wtf

Oh, and question on one of the bobbleheads. For #4, in the WKML Station, where is the bobblehead, I could only find that one room, and there isn't even a ham radio to look next to. Where is this sealed cistern?

I was in a similar position, spent most of the evening looking around where it should be based on it's real geographic location and couldn't find jack :P

It's through the through the Flooded Metro Station, north-west of the Citadel, just south of Wilhelm's Wharf.

That'll take you you to the cemetery, follow the road and you'll find the house.

Outside of the broadcast station, there's a little alcove with a hatch leading into the basement. It's not inside the station building atop the hill. South side, base of the cliff, underneath a rock overhang and tucked behind an outcropping. A real bitch to find.

No problem. I'm now stuck trying to find the one in the National Guard Depot, though. I can't seem to figure out how to open to door which leads to the Armory. It says it's opened somewhere else, but I've been all over the place and haven't found a terminal or anything related to it. Anyone with better luck who can shed some light on it?

edit: Nevermind, found it. I passed it the FIRST time I went through the entire complex.

And before anyone asks, Rockopolis is NOT on the map, it has no marker. You have to go due west from Vault 112 (Smith Casey's Garage) until you see a line of pennants strung up along the rock face. Right below it, interact with the big rock to enter Rockopolis. It's there in the back corner next to Argyle's body.

(spoilers) it looks like it's possible to miss the schematic in tenpenny tower located in dashwood's safe on the 3rd floor. if you choose to let the ghouls in to kill everyone before opening the safe then i don't think you can get the key to the safe from him (unless maybe his body goes somewhere?) I think you have to do a mission to get the key from him but i just killed him and took it.

it's probably been said before but you get another shot at going back to vault 101 along the story and you can get the bobblehead the 2nd time but i'm pretty sure after that there's no going back.

Alright, I'm finally done with this mess - couple tips

A) You do NOT need all 23 schematics for the achievement (need 7, one of each type) getting multiples of any one schematic just makes for more production per components

B) If you've got a save close to leveling to 20, ding that guy and buy the explorer perk and keep that save for a free map for a much easier time for it...or if you can pass up the other tasty perks just keep it :P

C) That damn switch for the Small Guns Bobble-head to get into the National Guard Armory is right as you exit the offices in the National Guard Depot zone on the wall before you drop down to that annoying sealed door. I know a couple of you who asked already found it, but I ran through there three times as well and I bet more will ;)

Stupid question coming your way!

right how many bobbleheads are there in vault 101, I'm sure I've read in a few places that there are 2? but the list only says that there is 1?

I reckon that the reason I think there is 2 is because some people got it when leaving first and some people got it when they came back, hence there being a misconception that there are 2 when there is only one.

Can someone please clarify and put my mind at rest?

Thanks

Outside of the broadcast station, there's a little alcove with a hatch leading into the basement. It's not inside the station building atop the hill. South side, base of the cliff, underneath a rock overhang and tucked behind an outcropping. A real bitch to find.

Does this help? Thanks for searching BTW.

You enter Raven Rock in a main story quest.

You enter Raven Rock when you are taken captive by President Eden and his goons in "The American Dream". Raven Rock is the Enclave base.

@Garbfink Just the one: Medicine. Confusion may also have arisen as there is a schematic there as well.

20. Luck

Zone: 16.03
Lat/Lon: N/A
Location: Arlington House
Specifics: Arlington house, cellar shelves

I was in a similar position, spent most of the evening looking around where it should be based on it's real geographic location and couldn't find jack :P

It's through the through the Flooded Metro Station, north-west of the Citadel, just south of Wilhelm's Wharf.

That'll take you you to the cemetery, follow the road and you'll find the house.

Just wanted to say thanks for this, all the others were easy enough to find with the guide however I was at a loss for the Luck bobblehead.

Since you have the marker on your map, try starting north of the marker and going south toward it to enter the Depot as the southern side is blocked off.

If that does not work I'm not entirely sure what the problem is.

vault 101: two chances to get it, at the beginning of the game, and during the homefront quest.

ravenrock: you only have one chance to get it, when you enter edens chamber, the door locks behind you, so no going back.

I read in the FAQ that the Overseer is necessary to get the 'Home front' mission. Does this mean that since I killed him I won't get this mission and therefore not get the Bobblehead and the achievement for finding all 20?

- Is the room with the bobblehead south/north/east/west of the cloning labs area?

Just clear things up. The weapons you make, not including mines & grenades are effected by the amount of schematics you have. Only having one schematic does not effect achievement.

The effect is as follows:

1 schematic 50% condition on weapon
2 schematics 100% condition on weapon
3 schematics 125% condition on weapon

I can't help you with an exact location. However, I know for sure that his office is located on Raven Rock Level 2. I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think his office/bedroom is right at the beginning of the long hallway before entering the room that you climb up the multiple levels of the stairway before talking "Face to Face" with Eden.

*Sigh* Wish I could be more helpful.

Also, can anybody give me more specific directions for the Nuka-Nade' in the Yau Guai Tunnels. Go to cliffside caverns, which is a raider camp, then head all the way through it to get to the tunnels. Once inside there is a ledge in front of you, drop off the ledge and head strait left and its like a 5 sec walk to the schematic. You can get in and out with out even seeing a yau guai.

I put this here, too, because you'll need 31 Nuka Cola Quantums. You need 30 to complete the quest, then you give them to Sierra Petrovita at Girdershade (don't give them to her stalker Ronald Laren, you'll lose karma and Sierra won't give you the schematic) and she'll reward you with the Nuka-Grenade schematic.

Do NOT drink, sell or pass by a Nuka Cola Quantum when you start playing.
Keep them.

Yes, whether you make the weapon only having 1 or multiple schematics, you'll get the achievement because you've 'made' every custom weapon either way. The multiple schematics only make your final weapon better.

There really isn't any other way to get in there without the main story quest. Have you done the story already? It's your only option unfortunately.

Do you need to retrieve all of the schematics, or can you just get one of each type and create the weapons for them (making that a minimum of 7 schematics you would need to collect and make weapons for to get the achievement)?

Thank god I read this before I started playing too much, looks like the only thing I wont be able to get is the one behind my mothers favourate poem, & I can just get the bobblehead when i return on that mission, although i killed her Dad, So i probably wont get offered the mission to go back, any hints on when this will come? I know I read above that even if you kill him you still get the mission over the radio, but when roughly into the story, so I can start checking.

After one of the main storyline quests, I think the second/third to last, you can head over to the vault and listen to a radio message.

Does anyone know where the Dart Gun schematic is on the wounded Deathclaw?

Does it appear in the same location or do I just have to aimlessly wander the wasteland to find it?

The Dart Gun schematics can be obtained in 3 ways (that i know anyways):

1. Completing The Lincoln Memorial quest. Quest is given by Hannibal Hamlin at the Temple of Union.
2. A vendor in Tenpenny Tower sell the schematics. Iirc, her name is Lydia Montenegro.
3. MDPL-05 Power Station near a skeleton.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!

No, they all must be done on one save.

I'm having a serious problem getting the Yoo Guai Bobblehead, i'm at the back area with the broken fence that leads to the Yoo Guai Den, but it simply won't let me jump high enough to take the steps that go to the entrance. Do I need a char with higher AGL or what?

No picture, but when you meet the 'rebels', there is a room with a bunch of them including Amata. At the back of this room is a smaller room with a Mr Handy medic droid. Look on a desk in the room this droid is in and you will find it. The bobbleheads aren't always that obvious, but its there. Believe me, I searched throughout the vault looking for it until I got it.

Just remember to try and make your priority the Bobblehead. You'll probably have to do some dialogue with characters, but try not to do the Overseers task (or his replacement) first. The Bobblehead is in the medbay where the rebels are holed up. That will be your last opportunity to get it.

Can somebody help me with the Ravenrocks bobblehead.

I saw a post before about where it is exactly on level 2 but I still cant find it.

Is it in area 2A 2B or 2C...? Is it near the "quarters" where there's like 4 beds in a room?

HELP! Thanks :)

i dont have the explorer perk and i would like to know what are the hardest bobbleheads to get to, ones that are in a difficult location etc?

was quite a trek getting to takoma park to kill a behemoth because you have to figure out it starts at vernon square east or something. is there any location like that for the bobbleheads where you have to trek from ages away etc?

thanks :)

If you ain't a high level then I guess the dunwich building one would be quite hard because of the ammount of ghouls in there.

No you can't you need to do the quest. But I was wondering when I finish the Main Quest game ends and I don't have access to World anymore. Only to start from the beginning... Then it is better now to finish Main quest until you do everything else you want to do.

"4. Explosives

Zone: 1.11
Lat/Lon: -17/18
Location: WKML Broadcast Station
Specifics: Sealed Cistern, next to ham radio"

I would like to add, 'At the bottom of the rocks looking towards the Radio station from behind it's in the cistern, which is snug between some rocks. Inside you'll find the Explosive bobblehead right next to the ham radio.'

If you have the medicine bobblehead from vault 101 you can upload your previous save and also collect the energy weapons bobblehead from raven rock. Those are the only two bobbleheads you must pick up. After that all the others must be down before you finish the last main quest.

Shinobi273 awnsered this quite well in another post:

It is located due west of Smith Casey's Garage, due north of Girdershade and South East of the Yao Guai Tunnels. From Girdershade, head directly North. Keep checking to your left for a streamer of flags strung horizontally across a boulder, it marks the entrance to Rockopolis. The entrance is practially only visible from the East.
