id give it about an 8 its a pretty good game everyone should try it
11-23-2008, 02:00 AM
I'd give it a.... 7.8
The campaign is really good and fun to play through.
But online is a disapointment.. Its trying to be a mix of Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 and Call of Duty 4 but isnt as good as either.
If you wanting it as mainly a multiplayer game, i wouldnt bother, bcos there are better game out already...
But if your more interested in the campaign i recommend it...
If its both you want... i'd rent it 1st

I would give it an 8 because the multiplayer is kinda lacking something. The campaign is great. Some parts are very challenging and i like how many checkpoint there are, helps when it gets really tough. I think that this game is worthy of an 8.

Campaign is okay. MP is okay.
Basically everything here has been done before much better by the likes of COD and RB6V.

are there allot of people playing online? i never have trouble finding games

Surprisingly, there seem to be plenty of people online. I haven't played the single player yet, so I'm only judging multiplayer. For a COD4 engine game, I think it looks terrible. The animations and character models are a joke. You can spawn camp a lot of maps which is lame. There are some cool game modes, but I wouldn't base my decision on buying this on multiplayer at all. Some of the MP achievements are fairly easy to get so that's why I bothered to spend some time on it last night. Worth a rental, but not sure about a "buy" based on MP alone, so far.

Story bit short but fun
MP very fun

8/10 but overall good game to buy and worth your time..
01-06-2009, 11:23 AM
I'd give it a 5 out of 10.
Everything about this game is pretty mediocre, i thought COD:WAW wasn't up to scratch but this game feels amateurish in comparison. Treyarch seem to have lost the plot imo
I wont go on about all the things i think are flawed with the game, but i would only recommend buying this game if you see it cheap, i only paid £15 for it which is why im not too bothered
But hey, everyone else here seems to like it alot so maybe its just me lol

I'd have to agree with thinreaper. it definately lacks something but i wouldnt go as far as saying its flawed. yes cod4 and rsv2 are better games, but this is a nice blend of both. online i feel is a bit lame, feels a bit rushed and simplistic but the campaign is definately worth the £17 i paid at amazon for it, even tho it does seem short on any mode other than 007.
Id give it a 7/10

8.4, I loved the solo campaign but I think they could have put more effort in the multiplayer.
01-17-2009, 10:52 PM
now Iv played the game and have 1000G on it i would now give it a........0/10 lol only joking probably a 6.5/10 because its just too easy of a game and boring after a short while but still a decent game..
6.5, single player was decent and short, mp has an awful community that abuses shottysnipers and its impossible to suceed if you dont use them, so multiplayer really affects the score >(

The single player campaign was really fun (if sometimes freaking frustrating on 007 difficulty), but it wasn't spectacular. The multiplayer is fun if you win, annoying as all get out if you lose. Most of it is knowing where to camp. Pretty good game, worth at least a 3-day rent to see if you like it.

Either a 7/10 or a 8/10.
I'd have to say the game is only decent. It isn't CoD4, but it is decent for what it is. The really short and easy campaign, and it feels like they should have done more with the cover system. I mean, having to leave cover in order to jump over it doesn't make sense to me. Multiplayer matches are also on the quick and short side, or at least all the ones I've played. I bought the game because: 1) I'm a Bond fan, and 2) because they had a collector's edition of it. So unless you're a really big Bond fan, you might just want to give it a rental. You can get most of the achievements without much difficulty.

I DISAGREE! This game has a FANTASTIC multiplayer, golden gun is a great game mode the shotgun is awesome and just a hint to everybody (do a L R snap like u would with a shotgun in gears of war it works great.)
I give the multiplayer a 9
--only because I bought everything to fast i need more gameplay =)
I give the campaign a 8
--a pretty standerd campaign but still has the bond feal (reminds me of Nightfire.

8/10 i just watched the film i thought that wasn't bad either though it wasn't amazing i thought it was a good adaptation to the game but the single player wasn't amazing I enjoyed the multilayer especially golden gun and the achievements were nicely based around the game :)

As fun as the single player campaigns were, they were definitely too short. I liked how they managed to incorporate missions from both the new Quantum of Solace film, as well as Casino Royale (which they totally should have made their own game for). If the game was as long as it was, just with the QoS missions, and then had the CR campaigns as well, then it would have lasted a lot longer. But as far as those campaigns went, they were definitely a blast to play through...great new weapons, and the cover system is fantastic.
The multiplayer is great as well, and the fact that there's so many different types of online modes means when you get tired of a certain mode, you can just switch to a different one. The team voices get a bit tiresome after awhile (after hearing "target eliminated" and "proximity planted" over and over again), but aside from that it's pretty good online...they even did a really good job on all the maps, although it would be nice to get some new ones through DLC if they do decide to release some.

A solid 9/10... I absolutely love this game.
OK so maybe the campaign is short but i absolutely love the online play. Good variety of maps (size and layout) Enough game modes to just about keep you occupied too.
Plenty of stuff to buy in the shop with the online credits you earn.
You won't struggle to find a game.
I also think the call of duty style mayhem with the rainbow six vegas cover sytem blend very well. Allowing you to play however you want.
Easy achievements too.
Only gripes being;
- Character voices are very repetitive and may start to bug you over a certain priod of time (although not me).
- Character animations are very... how can i put it... twitchy.
- The game will not automatically end if it starts to lag, often leading to you just quitting and losing all the credits you had earned up until that point. As well as the game lagging out by itself saying something about an unsuitable host, you lose the credits you had earned up until that point once again. (Most memorably when there was about 15 seconds to go until the end of one of the games i was in.)
But I am reluctant to give it anything less than a 9 at this point despite those issues. Every time i sit down to play it i just can't get enough of it.
You've also got the proposed DLC to come which will hopefully be good.
I grabbed this for £20 but would most definately have paid full price if i had to.
