I think this one will actually be worth it :p lol

Luminies on the PSP was revolutionary from what I hear, so, why the hell not :D Only if I get my Live back before PES, if not, it's gonna have to wait :p

I don't think that holds true. Here's IGN's word on it:

Lumines Springs to Live
Mizuguchi's music-puzzle game arrives on XBLA tomorrow.
by Daemon Hatfield (http://xbox360.ign.com/email.html)

October 17, 2006 - Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays roll on, and this week Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Q Entertainment are bringing Lumines to Microsoft's online service. Lumines Live! (http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/827/827007.html) can be downloaded starting tomorrow at 1:00am PDT.

The original Lumines was considered one of the best reasons to buy a PSP when it launched with Sony's handheld in spring 2005. Now Xbox Live is getting its own version of the music-puzzle game from the makers of Meteos. Battle your friends online, get creative with the Skin Edit Mode, and utilize downloadable content for more skins, puzzles, and songs.

Lumines Live! will cost you 1200 Microsoft Points, and a Lumines Live! Advance Pack with expanded content will also be available tomorrow for 600 points.

I'll definitely be staying up for this one so I'll report back in a couple hours on what you get.

According to MN, the extra pack includes:

"Plus an optional pack for 600 points will also be available that will allow gamers to change their music scene as well as choose from 22 new skins."

But if I remember correctly the October issue of OXM stated something along the lines that you'll need to buy the upgrade for the "full Lumines experience" or something like that. Don't quote me though, I'd get the actual text but I'm too lazy to go out to the car.

Either way, $30 for an arcade game is quiet spendy. Although it's nice to have a game that's not a 10-20 year old port. Those are starting to get quiet annoying IMO. Bring more original games like Cloning Clyde. (Sorry to change the topic also, just venting)

1200 points is $30.00? I count it at $15.00, even. If you add the optional pack it's $22.50, no tax. I know what you're saying but I'll happily pay for Lumines Live! at the same price as Bankshot Billiards. Heck, if you put Bankshot Billiards 2 and Lumines Live! up for comparison Lumines Live! looks like the all time steal of Xbox Live Arcade. ;)
