Sotaco
Wouldnt it be good and simple to add to the side of the game if the games achievements are easy or hard. Because some peope buy games for the achievements (im not one of them but i would like to share mi idea):AR15:rock:ass:wtf
Maka
This i kinda a popular demand, we've discussed it a couple of times... Each time we decided that we wouldnt do it... I simply dont se this time being different. Achievemtn difficulty is all personal preference. I thought King Kong was hard because it was boring and found Burnout Mediocore, because I had a blast while doing them...
RedBlinky
I do like how some of the games have a difficulty meter under them but I dont understand why some dont... What or who rather decides what the difficulty level for the game is?
Kaens
I agree, it's too subjective. Also at this point it will look like you're copying the other site. Also having that doesn't seem to stop the dozens of threads asking if it's an easy 1000 or how long it takes anyways.
shiningcheese
Yeah it would work on some games, but most games are all dependent on how well you perform in the game and if you even enjoy the game. I love Lumines and I have all the achievements for that, I got it relatively easy but most people find it near impossible. Same as geometry wars. Also, what about certain games like rpg's like Phantasy Star Ultimate and Oblivion have "easy" achievements for those who are willing to progress through the game and enjoy it but for those who despise RPGs these can be tough achievements. Only certain exceptions to the rule like open season or king kong (for most people) can be rated as "easy"
Webb
The aim regarding something similar to this is to include a short paragraph in our reviews for this
SaiSpag
Or have members of the forums all get to rate each achievement on a scale (1-5, 1-10) and they can only rate achievements that they have unlocked themselves. Average them out and that could be a rough guide line of what the majority of people thought about that game/achievement. Maybe.
Maka
Its not going to happen... We'll have the reviews in soon, and they'll go through the achievements
Legend
yo the difficulty thing is stupid because as maka said everyone is different and y do we have forums for the games specifically and an entire threads dedicated to discussing exactly that
PerpetualHeaven
yo the difficulty thing is stupid because as maka said everyone is different and y do we have forums for the games specifically and an entire threads dedicated to discussing exactly that That's why you have a poll. People can poll on a number scale from 1-10 whether it's hard or not. That way you can decide for yourself where it should lay in terms of difficulty.
