Ok so i have one red ring on my 360 but it's still in warranty.
If i send this off to microsoft will i be charged at all?
Just wondering as i'm unclear on the procedures.

You can check online whether or not you will be charged. If it is under warranty, you have nothing to worry about. You can either call to get a box, or sign up online.

If you have had it more than 12 months then they will try and charge you. The only error covered by the 3 year warranty is the 3 RROD.

Also it is from your ORIGINAL purchase date. So if you have had RROD before, it doesn't reset once you get a new console. Be prepared to wait a while though, I have heard stories about gamers going without their Xbox for 2 months or the complete opposite, gamers getting their Xbox back withen a week.

If it's under warranty and a RRod Issue...it should be totally free. I've sent mine off twice within the last year and haven't paid a cent.
Register it online and request a repair service. (A)You can either package it yourself and print a pre-paid label or (B)request a box and instructions will be inside. (A) Took a total of like 9 days (B) Took a total of like 14 days.
