What are you insane? Yes, but that is irrelevant.

Sorry I always wanted to use that in a suggestion thread.

Why not have live shows on one of the broadcasting websites? I use justin.tv just to play around and talk to people while playing games. I have seen people do contests over broadcasts.

So here goes my idea:

Why not have a broadcasting TV show, where all of the MODS can have access to 1 account, and you can schedule shows where you would, go play something with others like Left 4 Dead. You would need a capture card of course but they aren't that expensive (I got mine for $10). You can also activate voice to talk to your viewers.

This could also be a very good recruitment opportunity for there are many people to watch these live streams and if they see a gaming channel with a lot of viewers people are more willing to join in and watch.

Here is a link to my channel if you want to check it out. You can customize it almost anyway you want, custom header custom background.

I'm willing to test it for y'all if you are unsure you can use my channel so I can show y'all what you can do.

Do not really understand what you are suggesting but if you are talking about watching mods play then that seems kinda pointless, I would rather just play myself.

You have to do it jsut right, it matters on the commentary.

You would need to get people who are actually entertaining to watch play.People who act scared "just for the lol's" Take 4 player podcast for example. One of their guys played l4d for the first time he ended up yelling at the camera screaming like a little girl while being chased by a tank on fire. It was hilarious especially since we all know l4d isn't that scary.

i would rather be playing than watch someone play...if were to watch anything it would be a video blog

obviously it's not for everybody so this could do without the "I wouldn't watch that" because people do. As I said look at 4pp they reached 10million views a few weeks ago.

We've got Podcasts. Even that is hard to keep up to date, so I don't know how well a live broadcast would be.

I'll support it as long as I always get the girl by the end of the episode.

I honestly thought you were going to suggest an actual television show.

Seeing the idea, I think it could work. But more as a weekly or monthly "video podcast" with some of the latest x360a and gaming news. Obviously the podcast covers this for the most part, but video can always help.

Good luck getting it started though. :p

Well difference about it than a podcast is the fact that you can have multiple people doing it instead of your usual two. I almost always broadcast when I'm playing, the only reason I'm not now is because I let a friend barrow it.

As I said if y'all want I can give y'all a sample when I get my capture card back.

Oh and did I mention we can put it on the main page or anywhere we want and it will stream live as long as someone is broadcasting.

The Broadcast can be recorded and used to show off brand new games.

are you saying that we could watch the contests they have on tv

05-05-2009, 02:05 AM
Yup Yup Well on your computer but close enough. Like there could be a 1v1 contest and I or someone else could be doing commentary on it.

Forgot to mention there could also be an x360a movie night too.

i would like this, but it may be a bit hard, and get repetitive. as "p D O M q" said, we could have things like that, and have like the finals for games tournaments and the winners of competitions announced.

See now people are getting it, and I'll go check out Ufrag
