I think a cool thing to have on this site would be a realtime chatroom because whenever im on there is allways like 30 guests on and I think it would be cool to be able to chat with everyone instantly

Just an idea?

has already been suggested. think routine was looking into what is available. a good java chatroom would bea gd touch

Give RoutineX some time, he got a lot of stuff on his mind.

But I know he'll find a solution. :)

I think it will also give one time guests a chance to talk without having to join the forum and everything

youd have to be a member to use it i guess, for a login??

you can have one for everyoe(people can act like you also...) or you can find one where you need to log in

Minty

i think logins should be needed, it only takes 2 seconds. i think there could be a large problem with people being mirrored

People without an account could be named guest 1, guest 2 etc. on the chatbox.

true. or make the buggers register!! the only reason a guest would use the chatbox is to get some help and avice on a game-0 they should at least ave to register for that!!

Nukeshell

But some are to lazy to registrate and they'll find it out thereself

Minty

if their too lazy to register then there a pain in the ass anyway!!

were not running a drop in service for the homeless here!!

Nukeshell

True and I also think it's will be a better service if people registrate before they can use the chatbox. But I'm not sure if they will registrate just for a single question.

i dont think people will have a problem with registering. i mean it only takes 2 seconds. and how mnany forums have a free, live instant chat help service available?!

True, otherwise you are talking to a "Guest" and a few minutes later it's someone else.

Minty
02-20-2006, 08:38 PM

ianc125
02-20-2006, 08:42 PM

Nukeshell

Just use the forum names with the passwords for a Chatbox.
