I'm just wondering, is there an end to the career mode? I've become champion and ahve been for a while and I see no progress of the game except for my stats. Do you need to retire or does the game just continue?

You retire in year 7. :)

Does the game force you to retire? Don't get me wrong, after seven years it's probably tough as hell to keep fighting (look at Pulver, God bless him) but my CAF is only age 18. I set him low so I could fight him until he was like 35-40

His age stays the same no matter how old you make him. Yes Dana makes you retire no matter what after year 7. I was undefeated with a record of 34-0 and he says Bro you've had a long run and you only have one more year on your contract left and says he can't resign you b/c the athl. comm. won't clear you to fight anymore afterwards.

Ah that sucks. Kinda kills the realism in it for me. But I guess its understandable. Were you able to get your CAF close to the exhibition fighter's stats? That's the main problem I see with forced retirement is that I want to get as close to the big guys as I can before retiring (stat-wise).
