Obtain all the trophies in Career Mode with a fighter.
25 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

You only need to have at least one of each Trophy. Credit to deadt0m for a large chunk of the information. The trophies are:

3 win streak
6 win streak
10 win streak
Submission of the night
Fight of the Night
KO of the Night
UFC Belt
UFC Hall of Fame award
Striking and Grappling Technique Level 3

Easiest way for the Submission trophy is to choose a Welterweight career. Raise your sub offense and defense from sparring. Play against a real GNP char (like Matt Hughes or Josh Koscheck , who are both good at boxing and wrestling), beat him up a bit and let him take you down. He will most likely end up in your open guard and will throw strikes. Catch one and rotate the stick fiercely and with good stats, you should snap his arm.

To obtain striking and grappling technique, simply schedule training sessions with other camps when you are prompted. It will put a little icon on your screen after you choose. When you get to the week where your visit is scheduled, go to Action on the Calendar menu and participate in the activity.

The camps themselves consist of one 5 minute round in which you are given tasks to complete. For instance, Land 10 kicks and punches, get a headkick knockdown, throw 5 uppercuts from the tie up, etc. For every task you complete you are rewarded 10 points. In order to reach level 3 in a discipline, you must gain 450 total points in the camps (150 per level). You can either do them one at a time, or take turns, it doesn't really matter.

The "UFC Hall of Fame trophy" is easily obtained if you are going for the "Call me no touch!" achievement. Try to get 33 - 35 undefeated wins and win your last match to be enshrined into the Hall of Fame.

Enter the Hall of Fame with a fighter during Career Mode.
25 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

You must play 7 complete seasons before you are prompted to fight a match to deem yourself worthy for the hall. Easiest way to check how many seasons you've played is by simply staying undefeated. By going 35-0, you should be near the end of the Career mode and on your way to being enshrined.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/rf/Bd/1oCLiGJhbC9AFQUbXVJRFzJBL2FjaC8wLzQAAAAA5+fn+XLwtg ==.jpg Call me "No Touch!"
Complete Career Mode and retire undefeated.
75 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

Probably one of the more difficult achievements in the game. To maximize your chances of securing this achievement, there are however a few tips that may come in handy. Never accept any offers for matches directly from Dana White. Never fight the top ranked challenger for your championship or for your next fight in general (pay close attention to their rank in the lower left hand corner.) Try to utilize the time between events by training by both sparring and maxing your three skills, as well as going to your camp.

If you are to lose a match, quickly press the middle xbox button directly upon defeat and quick to the dashboard.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Pl/FM/0Dc8P2NhbC9BFQUbXVJRFzJBL2FjaC8wLzUAAAABUFBQ-2NRJQ==.jpg Where's my bonus check?
Obtain the KO, Submission and Fight of the Night Awards with a fighter in Career Mode.
20 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

More easily done in the big fights, such as the title defenses and the title shot itself. The awards may be randomly awarded, but by knocking out your opponent in a bigger, more hyped match you have a stronger chance of obtaining them. Either knock your opponent out or use a submission move in one of these fights to obtain the award.

As for Fight of the Night, some times you can actually hear the commentaries joke about "Fight of the night" when your exchanged in a bloody brawl. I got it when I made it to round three in a title defense against Rashad Evans. Don't go for a quick knockout or submission move.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/iw/Gc/1YCLiGJhbC9CFQUbXVJRFzJBL2FjaC8wLzYAAAAA5+fn+rMBkA ==.jpg That was easy!
Win in under 20 seconds of the 1st round against a COM UFC Fighter in Exhibition or Career Mode.
20 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

Remember to use the L stick at the beginning of the match to close the space between you and your opponent. It may take a few attempts but eventually, as with the Flash KO achievement, you'll get lucky and most likely knock him out.

Complete all tasks from the Tutorial Mode.
25 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

When you first load the game, you are most likely prompted to begin the tutorial. The tutorial is fairly simple at times, almost too simple and could eat away as much as thirty minutes of your time if your not careful. You MUST complete every semi-lesson in each section.

The sections are as follows:

Navigation
Striking
Take down& Clinch
Transition
Submission
Others

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/RP/gF/1YCLiGJhbC81FQUbXVJRFzJBL2FjaC8wL0EAAAAA5+fn+ir4Xw ==.jpg UFC Historian
Unlock all movies from the Classic Fights Mode.
20 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

From the list, probably one of the more boring achievements unless you choose to boost the online part. You must win a majority of the matches by decision. It will definately take away some time, so if you want, you could easily do this achievement in parts. Since a majority of these movies are unlocked by decision achievements, stay conservative throughout the matches. Use http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/rt.png and http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/rb.png to defend and attempt to keep your distance as much as possible.

Once in the last round, use strong kick combos instead of punching to keep from knocking the opponent out. If you are taken down, time and click your Right stick and rotate to get out.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/8f/Ek/14CLiGJhbC82FQUbXVJRFzJBL2FjaC8wL0IAAAAA5+fn+Avx6g ==.jpg World Class Striker
Win by KO without using any grappling against a COM UFC Fighter in Exhibition or Career Mode.
30 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

If you haven't gotten this achievement by time you attempt to go for the "That was easy!" achievement, your most likely going to unlock this one. Just do not grapple for a game and smash the opponents face with combos and the achievement is yours. I got the achievement with kicking a few times, but to be safe, just use http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/x.pngand http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/y.pngto parade your opponent.

It must be noted that this achievement excludes two things. Ground strikes and being grappled yourself. Try to fight someone that has a more stand up game. Lyoto Machida is a good light heavyweight match up for this achievement considering he is a defensive, straight up brawler.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Yg/nE/1oCLiGJhbC83FQUbXVJRFzJBL2FjaC8wL0MAAAAA5+fn+esJeQ ==.jpg World Class Grappler
Win by Submission using no striking against a COM UFC Fighter in Exhibition or Career Mode.
30 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

You CANNOT strike an opponent on the GROUND once you have them on the ground. Simply grab a good grappler (toggle stats with X in the select fighter menu) and body slam them until you get them weak. Rotate your RT stick and click it a few times to get into a good submission move and rotate to break their body parts. Should unlock after he submits.

If your going for "Trophy Collector" you'll most likely be able to get this using the strategy there.

100 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

The championship comes about 12 matches into your career (if you go undefeated). Do this with every weight class and the achievement should unlock. Their are 5 weight class divisions and the title must be won with a created character in all of them.

Create A Fighter and use the CAF in Exhibition or Xbox LIVE.
25 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

Create a fighter, remember what class you made him in and then load up the character in Exhibition. The character may be used in Xbox live matches as well. You DO NOT have to win the fight for the achievement to unlock.

Secret offline achievements (some may be unlocked through online play):

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/QK/2D/14CLiGJhbC8xCxoEGllTWTJBL2FjaC8wLzFFAAAAAOfn5-isrVw=.jpg Ultimate Submission
From the gassed state, Submit an opponent in any mode.
15 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

Fight a rough, yet guarded match for a while against a weaker opponent. Gassed state means when your tired. Easiest way to check this is by going to the pause menu and finding the option "Turn on stamina bars". Once you feel confident your stamina is low enough, go in and use a submission move against the opponent. CAN'T be done by striking, you must use a submission move.

http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/3222/1ocligjhbc8wcxoeglltwtj.jpg Ultimate Knockout
From the gassed state, KO an opponent in any mode.
15 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

This is similar to the achievement above. Use the same strategy, thudding your opponent with punches until your both a mix of blood and sweat. Remember that as easy as it is for you to knock them down in this state, the same applies to the computer. So keep your fists up and the remaining stamina higher then theirs before you come in for the fatal blow. If your having trouble, hook up another controller or ask a bud to play with you online.

http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/4969/0ocligjhbc82cxoeglltwtj.jpg Wanted: Flying Mouthpieces
Mouth piece travels more than 3 meters when knocked out.
15 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

Really, this achievement is more about luck. Use rough kick and hard punches (aim your Left stick towards the opponent as you punch or kick). If your a player that likes to go for the knockout, you should eventually unlock this achievement in no time. An uppercut or strong jab to the jaw usually gets the most hang time from the mouthpiece

http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/2267/0icligjhbc81cxoeglltwtj.jpg Two of my favorites!
Watch the Octagon Girl cutscene 15 times without skipping it.
15 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

Just watch the cut scene of the Dead or Alive ring girls 15 times and it should unlock. Probably one of the more entertaining achievements this game has to offer.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Kr/7B/04CLiGJhbC83CxoEGllTWTJBL2FjaC8wLzFDAAAAAOfn5-zuvjY=.jpg Ultimate Highlights
Dominate the opponent in all 3 scenes of a replay segment.
15 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

A simple solution to this achievement is to dominate your opponent and/or knock them out. You MUST watch all three replay segments for the achievement to pop. You can usually tell when your dominating the replay, considering your the one initiating the contact. This achievement is awarded in between rounds and cannot be obtained by watching the highlights if you dominate and knock out your opponent in the first round.

Gain a million or more fans in a Xbox LIVE Ranked Match.
20 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

Fans are gained by winning matches. You should unlock this while going for the "Red Belt" achievement. Fans are lost by losing matches, however, there is not a set amount to be lost per match. It depends upon your performance. So if your going to lose a match, attempt to fight your best so your points and fans don't take as bad a beating as you did. If the match is close enough, you even sometimes are able to gain fans from losing matches. It all depends on the effort you put into the fights.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/za/K+/04CLiGJhbC9NCxoEGllTWTJBL2FjaC8wLzE5AAAAAOfn5-yRotE=.jpg Red Belt
Reach level 50 or higher in a Xbox LIVE Ranked Match.
100 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

It's time consuming if you want to boost or if you want to do it legit. Their are a few methods of getting the achievement faster, however.

First you must remember that if you simply get the snot beat out of you, without much resistance on your part, your going to lose more fans and points then you would if you brawled it out and lost a close match. So if you don't really feel like playing a match, chances are it's a better decision to not play it.

If your going to boost, grab a friend on your list or in the Achievement trading thread. Once he's ready, both go to Custom match and get the same settings down. Usually it will prompt one of you to host a match, once you create it tell him to begin the search for your match with the same settings. It's not a completely great boosting technique, considering people usually join and he usually joins someone else' match, but I got 20 matches in an hour and half.

Remember to use submission and defense to the best of your abilities. If your really having problems, back out of the lobby on good, high ranked players and try to play poorly experienced people. A trick that works well and is very lightly used is the hard kicks. Not only do they hurt the opponent, they are a long distance attack and keep their stamina down. Don't get into a slug feast, stay conservative and use your kicks and submission moves.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/UE/55/0YCLiGJhbC9DCxoEGllTWTJBL2FjaC8wLzE3AAAAAOfn5-5WTkw=.jpg Ooh, in ya face!
Win a fight by flash KO in a Xbox LIVE Ranked Match with a CAF or UFC fighter.
25 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

This CANNOT be a combo. You must get lucky and knock out an opponent in a freak super man punch. Easily done when their stamina is down to a point where they are gasping for air and they look wobbly. It may be boosted.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/dr/+4/0oCLiGJhbC9BCxoEGllTWTJBL2FjaC8wLzE1AAAAAOfn5-2Xv2o=.jpg Gold Digger!
Obtain all the gold medals in a Xbox LIVE Ranked Match Weekly Mission.

All credit goes to xYx VeNoM xYx (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/member.php?u=11801).

For this achievement you must earn all of the possible 5 gold medals within one week. The 5 gold medals you have to get are:

Damage your opponents body an average of 30%
Win 10 consecutive matches
Win with 1 attack
KO opponent while rocked
Land 100% strikes and submit opponent first try

1. Win w/ no missed hits and a sub on the first try.

Basically just take your opp down get in full guard. If your not and click the Right thumb stick in, it will take about 5 seconds and the sub will be locked on and your opp tapping out. This would be very difficult w/o boosting.

2. Win a round while your Rocked (Grey Screen)

This is going to be hard to describe by words but here it goes.

Let your buddy beat your ass until your Rocked, after your in the Rocked state you CANNOT take anymore damage after that point even after your screen goes back to color. After your rocked state occurs if you cant knock him out that's fine just make him submit. NOTE: You don't actually have to win w/ a grey screen you just have to win after that w/o taking more damage.

3. Win w/ Opponent Avg Body HP below 30%

Easiest way is on 3-5 rounds..... Work on the legs w/ the LT and alternate kicking buttons so its balancing pretty evenly do this for about 2:30 and make sure ur far enough away where your actually hitting both legs and not just one. Move up to the body using LT and alternating punches or kicks into the ribs do that for the remainder of the round. For the arms have your buddy guard his face or ribs and just keep hitting where he's guarding do this for a whole round. Now the head keep doing light punches or kicks to the head once you see its badly swollen or cut really bad then you can start using LB and kick or punch and you will have that medal after you win.

4. Win 10 in a row

This is pretty self explanatory.... Just boost til you have the 10 in a row.

5. The Bastard Child of Satan AKA 1 Hit KO/Victory

This was a pain in the ass and you absolutely have to have timing down to do this.

There are 2 ways ive done this and both got the medal.

First way, Let your opponent do heavy moves to you until he's absolutely worn down (Yes this is ok as it doesnt count as your hit he can even take you down and do some work) after he's worn down and if you have created a Muay Thai Heavyweight w/ the aforementioned stats then this should work 99% of the time.

After he's worn down have him cross the octagon, Now this is important when you hit LB and Kick from a distance you will do a jumping knee (you may want to test this out to get ur timing down as to when you need to jump to connect directly to his head)... Once you have that down pat then have ur buddy run at you using the L stick in the direction that you are and that will make him run full steam ahead into your knee and BAMMM relief you just got the Sperm of Satan Medal.

The other way is exactly the same but instead of him hitting you and getting worn down have him run around the ring and do his power move over and over its just this way takes a little bit longer to wear him down.

UPDATED METHODS- Allow your opponent to wail away on you until either all his stamina is gone to yellow or wait til the 2nd or 3rd round and while his is down in Yellow just do your power move whether it be kick, knee, punch etc..... CONFIRMED THIS WORKS W/ UFC fighters.

Escape 20 submissions by technical escape against a COM UFC Fighter in Exhibition or Career Mode.
20 http://live.xbox.com/xweb/lib/images/G_Icon_External.gif

This is an achievement that can achieved across several matches. Submissions are when the opponent is attempting to break one of your limbs, such as the armbar. This achievement ISN'T awarded for escaping a pinned position against the canvas. Rotate the right stick to keep the opponent from snapping your body part and after 20, this should unlock.

This guide is much better detailed than the other guide that was previously posted. I hate when people rush to put up guides just because they want to be credited for a guide and then they dont put in the effort to make it detailed in a timely manner. Good job!

I must say this is very very helpful and organized. I do need quite a bit of help with the trophy collector achievement, mostly the submissions though so my question is which is the best weight class to have a well rounded fighter in subs and ko power to get 5 of the specific trophies (ko and subs) plus 5 fight of the nights?

You do not need to get the "Fighter of the Night" trophy five times to unlock the achievement. You need to do all three with ONE fighter in one play through.

I'd recommend Light Heavyweight, because it's a more neutral build. Like the guide says though, try to make sure your in a championship match or a title defense. The Fight of the Night award should unlock on it's own, as well as the KO if you are a stand up fighter. The submission must be done while you have the opponent on the canvas, with no strikes. Don't attempt the submission one early in the match, tire him out and then snap his leg/arm.

3 win streak
6 win streak
10 win streak
Submission of the night
Fight of the Night
KO of the Night
UFC Belt
UFC Hall of Fame award
Punkass - Unlock TapOut as a sponsor
Mask - Win three times in a row with a submission

Easiest way for the SUB and Mask trophies is to choose a Welterweight career. Raise your sub offense and defense from sparring. Play against a real GNP char (like Matt Hughes or Josh Koscheck (both boxing and wrestling), beat him up a bit and let him take you down. He will most likely end up in your open guard and will throw strikes. Catch one and rotate the stick fiercely and with good stats, you should snap his arm.

Hey man i noticed you didnt have the wax off achievement for offline, and here is the picture for that and for the pound for pound champion

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Fu/1b/14CLiGJhbC9MFQUbXVJRFzJBL2FjaC8wLzgAAAAA5+fn+HTtDQ ==.jpg Pretty easy to get this one all you have to do is pick a wrestler and fight a pretty good fighter in that weight class on begginer or expirienced difficulty and clinch your opponent then from the clinch hold (LB)+Flich the right analog stick TOWARDS your fighter this will make you land a big slam (ocassionally they will block it just keep trying) and a lot of times against the good fighters they will put you in a guilliteon (spelling?) choke. Spin the right stick clockwise and get out of it then stand up. If they dont chocke you stand up and clinche again, you might be able to get this in one fight or over time. It took me about 4 fights in career mode against Rashad Evans, Rampage Jackson, Layoto Machida, and Forrest Griffin.

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/cu/o+/0ICLiGJhbC9FFQUbXVJRFzJBL2FjaC8wLzEAAAAA5+fn-xHqaQ==.jpgand here is the pound for pound champ picture.
This achievement might seem hard but its not create a fighter and make his styles kickboxing and wrestling. Then get his strength up and keep training that and cardio until they are both about 70 (more if you choose, speed i would say to around 50 or more if you choose). Then train your standing kick strikes and standing strikes offence high around 50...then just put the game on begginer and knock out every opponent once you have these stats and all the rest around maybe 30-40 just rest until your next fight you should only need around 10-12 fights if you pick the best guy they offer you every time and on begginer its hard to lose. If you lose before the match ends and they announce it hit the center button go to the dashboard and restart. Do this for every weight class and you will easily get the achievement. It only took my friend about 3 hours.

Well, I got them and they unlocked the same as trophies. If anyone can confirm or deny their substance to this achievement that would be appreciated. In the mean time, sorry if I caused any confusion.

The Mask and Punkass unlockables have nothing to do with the Trophy Collector Achievement.

For Trophy Collector, you need Fight/KO/Sub of the Night, 3/6/10 win streak, UFC Title, Hall of Fame Trophy, and Striking and Grappling Technique Level 3.

Hope this clears up some of the confusion.

BT X360
05-22-2009, 12:56 PM
^true. + Points from camp invites don't carry over. For example, if you have 130 points and you'll obtain 70 more. You level up, but start at 0 (not the expected 50).

Try to watch the replays in between the rounds.

Also, use the body slam to hurt your opponent. Certain styles (Brock Lesnar) are able to do this move. Use RB and Right stick to clinch your opponent and then pull towards you with the right stick and you should body slam him.

Then you didn't do all of the tutorials. And you only get the replay achievement in between rounds, not after the fight is over. After every round they show three replays, if they all have you winning then it pops up right after the 3rd one.

It asked me if I would like to do the tutorial and I did it and did all, I believe there is like 6 or 7 I don't remember and when I finished I would just do next and then finished each different one I would go right down the list. And so in order for me to get the replay one I need to make it go to at least 2 rounds and just can't knock him out in 1 round?

what is the point of having an entire forum for a game if nobody looks for shit?

If the tutorial achievement didn't pop, you missed something. If you say you did them all, then yell at your 360 until it decides to unlock the achievement for you.

And for Ultimate Highlight, how can you have an inbetween round highlight reel if the fight ends in 1 round?

I'll stick it, but The Historian description needs work for one. Out of the 12, only 2 are decision matches. The rest are KO or Submission. Some of the submissions may need explaining as well like how you perform a "rear naked choke" submission and an "armbar."

Also, maybe explain the "UFC Hall of Fame award" on the Trophy Collector achievement.

And mention that Ultimate Highlights is awarded in between rounds and not if you dominate and knock someone out in the first round.

Maybe clear up Wax Off! as well because a technical escape is an escape from a submission and not a pin.

Otherwise ... great :D

Regarding World Class Grappler

To do this one easiest, start a lightweight bout, be BJPenn and the COM set to Spencer Fisher.

Run up to him, clinch (RS->), throw him to the floor (LB+RS<-) and submit (LS in) and spin the RS like crazy.. Doesn't need weakening, took about 25 seconds into round 1.

Well when you go to the task list, if you don't understand them you should click them and sometimes they will tell you what way to rotate the stick or what not. Also, watch the learn part, to see what positions you need to be in to do the tasks or what not.

Once you get the ground game down it is awesome though. Ground and Pound ftw. :p

Nice achievement guide, should be noted though as a side note that a submission does not literally break or snap the limb in the game, it just gets to a point where it might and the other fighter taps out before it breaks or he is knocked out from a choke, if it ever broke it would be a very graphic game lol. That or it puts tremendous pressure on the limb and causes it to suffer immense pain, as said above.

I reached the 1 Million mark at just under 100 wins. I hold a 105-54 record so yeah if you can imagine that. You'll probably get this achievement just before unlocking black belt. I got red (level 50) way before the 100 win mark. So keep that in mind. Also beating people with higher rank will also give you a lot more fans. As well as try playing 5 round matches as they're supposed "belt" matches which will help jump your fans as well. Exciting fights and flash ko's will also add more fans then the norm.

For "Ultimate Submission," or any achievement that claims you can get it in any mode, you should go to Exhibition with two controllers connected. One goes red, one goes blue. Select any two characters, I chose Chuck Liddell and Kazuhiro Nakamura. Once started, pause the game, go to options and turn the stamina bars on. Use a takedown on Kazuhiro (using Iceman) then get into side position and throw knees into Kazu's side to lower Iceman's stamina when you stamina is super low/near empty move up to Mount position (when you're completely on top of the opponent, NOT in between his legs or on top of one.) YOU MUST TRANSITION QUICKLY, so as not to let your stamina regain. When on top, Push in the Right stick so it clicks (RsB). you should transition into an armbar attempt, tap any button repeatedly, i suggest (A) but it doesn't matter. If you have a tiny bit of stamina before you do this move, it will drain and the achievement will still unlock. When you succeed in armbarring Kazu, the achievement should unlock. Use similar methods to unlock other achievements like this, just adapt to their requirements. --Refined Suicide.

Yeah this guy has it right, i'm lvl 19 today and I played 2 guys in a row who were lvl 1 (1 guy had the unfortunate duty of fighting me for his first ever ranked match and the other guy was 1-5) and I got like a small 100-200 points for both victories but my fans got boosted up tremendously because both we're brutal K.O.s (Left spinning backfists and beautifully landed right head kicks). So lower level wins = less points towards leveling up Flashy K.O.s, close fights and quick submissions = more fans

RA1NKING

Easiest way for 1000 000 fans is the following way "

Hey guys
me and a buddy found a very easy way to get 100 000 fans every match each. Basically use heavyweights ( caf ). You meet in the middle of the octagon or any side really. Both of you must just keep tapping x and y ( dont use lb , lt , rb or rt -- Only tap x and y ) , even when both of your characters have no stamina just keep doing it , first you will hear joe rogan say they are standing toe to toe , then you will keep hearing about how they said they are gonna stand and bang etc.
After this you will get boos etc as well.. dont worry about that.

For the whole first round just both stand and keep tapping x and y , then once the second round starts continue doing the same method for 1 more minute. Once that is done one of you takes the other down and does a submission.

We did this yesterday and were both getting 100 000 fans a match....

It took maybe 12 matches to get 1000 000 fans as some matches we only got 80 000. "

For the Gold Digger achievement, some people were saying they had gotten all the gold medals and no achievement. To make sure of this, you have to go to the Weekly Top 100 in Leaderboards section of Xbox Live. You'll see at the bottom of the box 3 rows of 5 medals. The top row is your gold medals, click RB to shift through them. ANY MEDAL THAT IS GREY, IS NOT DONE.

I have 17 TKO's online, but don't have the achievement? Do they not count TKO's as KO's online?

You can check your leaderboards and you'll see there are two different columns. One for KO and one for TKO. Your KO column count towards the achievement. The difference between them is that a KO is a where the guy falls, his mouthpiece flies etc. TKO is when you're on top of him and smashing his face in and the ref steps in and ends it.

Alright, I knew one day I'd be able to add to a guide...

This is how to get the "Wax off" Achievement in one fight (5 Rounds of course)

1. Set up a game on the easiest difficulty
2. Pick welterweights
3. You pick Matt Arroyo and then the COM as Jon Fitch
4. When the game starts, throw a few punches, not to knock out but to lower your OWN stamina. Just a little though.
5. Get double underhooks (right on the right thumbstick for the noobs)
6. Pull to guard (LB+any direction on right thumbstick, once again, for the noobs)
7. Do a minor transition to get him from open guard down, to open guard up.
8. He will strike you a few times, just hold RB, then he will go for a kneebar. Then ROTATE, dont button mash.
9. Once you get out of it, you'll be in side control, click Left Thumbstick, then rinse and repeat from step 5.

WOOT WOOT you'll have this achievement in ONE fight. Now all I have to do is one more single player achievement!

Anyone got any tips on the Anderson Silva vs Dan Henderson Classic fight? I've done every single other classic fight correct so I know how to rear naked choke, but this bitch Henderson will not be submitted. First round I destroy his stamina to the point where he's getting rocked by kicks or knees to the body, 2nd round comes I weaken him a little and go for the choke but he always escapes. Its very time consuming doing rubber guard and getting his back, need some tips on how to get his back quicker than rubber guard or mounting and waiting for him to turn..
I just barely got him to submit. You have to get him in gray and IMMEDIATELY get him in the choke and pound that button like there's no tomorrow. This is the hardest classic fight, so dont get frustrated. Just keep trying. Remember, there can be no delay between the two actions. Very hard to do.

Don't go to rubber guard. Beat his a$$ in the first round to where your making him grey every kick. Then when the time comes to submit him. Double leg takedown-Minor transition to open guard offense UP-Major Transition to side control-Major transition to Mount-Get to Mount UP-let him roll over after a few tries- His stamina will be low by then- Then just choke him out....

btw, the going 3 rounds to win by Decision was the hardest....because its so damn easy to get flash KO's with Forrest.

Edit:*I meant to quote your whole Quote...not just what you said.*^^^

Good strategy for the Henderson fight. I didn't even try to submit until the late 2nd round. Also a little tip that works better then rotating RS is place the controller in a position you can tap all 4 buttons with 2 hands. I can almost always submit better with this technique (not as effective on user controlled).

And for Forrest? You just hit the body when they get that weak, not the head. And if you only throw straights and jabs you won't knock him out.

And the greatest, that thing you have there with the LOTR characters is the absolute funniest thing I have ever read. I (am) almost laughing so hard I can't hold it in and my boss is behind me at work. Not a good idea. LMFAO

SO! I was playing last night and i was fighting Bisping in my umpteenth title defense. (is it just me or is 'call me no touch' ruining this game for anyone else? i just do the same shit to win the same way. lots of head kicks, hahaha.) Anyway, i'm looking for submission as i have yet to win one (24-0 and no submissions, gross.). I have Bisping to the point of hard body kicks knocking him down in the fifth, no stamina at all and i STILL can't submit him! I'm pissed! i'm at 91 submission! damn! /endrant

one awesome thing about this fight is, I'm just dominating, working Bisping over huge. after the third round:

out of nowhere! i hadn't read anything about this being a glitch. one thing about it though, i haven't been on live since this game released, maybe it's been patched, i don't know, but this fucker popped mid fight, with no replay segments played at all.

i typed this (word for word, hahaha) in a different thread, but i thought i'd point out that the replay achievement is glitched. not bad glitched, but glitched nonetheless.

The segment 1 still wont unlock? When do the replays play? Because the ones at the end of the fight i've been dominating.

Best way to get this is in exhibition. Use Brock Lesnar (who can slam people, which counts as a grapple). After about four slams, cinch in the submission and the achievement is yours. If you lock in a cinch and push LB and the RS anywhere, he will throw his opponent down into a grapple. Submit away hehe.

The replay is after the round. Just make sure the AI doesnt get a look in on any offense.

I was having major issues with the Rear Naked Choke, and finally figured it out with Griffin Vs Rua: (this is the aggressive way to get to RNC)
-go into the clinch (Right stick forward)
-pull into def. full guard (LB+RS back)
-pull leg up (LB+transition)
-do same transition without LB
-go for submission (RS click)
-finish off sub. (rotate stick or button taps)

I think this the same way for Penn vs Stevenson and Silva vs Henderson. Hope this helps.

LEGGOmyEGGObro
06-05-2009, 07:08 PM
You are correct,MnM. It is easiest if you clinch, pull guard, transition to rubber guard, use the omoplata to take his back and next comes the choke. This method works for EVERY fighter who needs a Rear Naked Choke to unlock the highlight. Just make sure you have beat up the guy pretty good so he can't defend the choke.

Courtesy of scarfaces80 and Sneaky Scrote, without doubt by far the best and easiest way to get the 1 hit KO medal for Gold Digger achievement. We were working on it for hours today through muchos frustration, trying everything including the methods mentioned in the guide.

Have one guy create a CAF with stats all set at 1. The punching bag needs to select this CAF online. The person wanting the achievement picks someone with high kicking offense (Cro-Cop or a CAF). Start the match, gauge the distance between eachother (make it just further than head kicking distance), and have the weak CAF shoot for a takedown. Time it right with a LB+A or B and you've got a perfect knee-to-chin KO.

Just recently got Gold Digger and thought I should point this out for the one hit KO medal.

To start, make a heavyweight CAF with maxed strength, standing kicking offense, clinch grapple offense and also max his height (I think 6'7" was the tallest). Also make him a kickboxer/wrestler. Then get your opponent to make a heavyweight CAF with 1 on all stats and he must be the shortest he can be (I think 6'0" was the shortest?). Make sure that this one is a boxer at the very least, nothing else matters.

The key here is remembering this: doing a clinch, then slamming your opponent to the floor (Wrestling style) to take their stamina down first does NOT count as hitting your opponent. If you keep repeating this there will be a point when your opponent's stamina gets so low that they become rocked when you slam them. At this point their stamina will not lower anymore. Now all you need to do is slam them to get them rocked and let them stand up.

Now the important part. Make sure that the guy with the weakling does a heavy punch (LB+X or Y) and you do a heavy kick (LB+A or B) at the same time. The only thing you need to make sure is that you both do the same hit (i.e. if your opponent does a right punch with their right hand, you do a right kick with your right foot). This will result in you kicking your opponent in the head and KO'ing them in one hit.

This didn't work first time for me because I didn't do the correct hits (I did a right kick, my opponent did a left punch). I then did it how I stated and got it right away. My opponent then did the same (he did a right kick, I did a left punch), didn't work. We then did it how I stated and he got the medal too. So in short, that seems to be the most important part after getting your opponent rocked. It does take timing but not very precise timing by any means.

CONFIRMED THIS WORKS W/ UFC fighters.

allright...
so how is this possible?

I don't know if you want to put it in (or if it's been mentioned already) but for the UFC Historian one, for the decision fights, I found a good strategy was click in the left stick and hold it toward the wall, and then up or down (depending on your position). If done right you can kill around a minute before they get a punch or two in so if you do that, then just unload in round three it's usually a good strategy

For anyone interested in getting this achievement, I found a way to consistently get 2 of the Gold medals for it. You will need to get the other 3 to get this achievement though (and the 3x multiplier):

Here's how to get the gold medal for:

- 1 hit KO medal for Gold Digger achievement
- End the fight with first submission attempt (and no hits blocked)

Using a wrestler, just keep body locking and slamming them. You can get to the body lock (double underhooks) by clich grappling or reversing their punches. Everytime you slam them, they take damage to the body. Eventually, you can get them to the KO state (where the screen turns black and white).

After you get there, body lock and take them down 3 more times (to get the ko screen 3 times) and them punch them in the stomach once from full mount or postured up in guard. The ref will stop the fight and you'll get the gold medal for 1 hit.

You can also do a take down and get into their close guard with your posture down and pick them up and slam them with your signature move. This will also do damage to the body and not register as a punch. You can also get the take down from reversal a kick to the body or a kick to the leg.

If you want the submission gold medal, then do the same, but once your get their energy low enough, you go for your submission so they don't have enough stamina to get out of your first submission attempt.

You need some skills to do this. You can't use strikes at all, just take downs and slams. But if you find someone that's relatively new online, you can use this strategy to get the gold medal legitly without boosting and pwn your opponent at the same time.

I've been called a boring ass fighter many times for doing this. But I get my gold medal and I actually beat a person without throwing a single punch.

Am I doing something wrong to get the achievement for using the whole roster? I go through game progress to see who I need to use still and it doesn't show anyone. And this is offline. I dont have to us them online, right? This is confusing me.

can you get the career mode achievements with an existing fighter or do you have to create a new one and start from scratch?

I just can't get the trophy "Submission of the night"! I tried everything...

I'm defending my title, I let the fighters hit me (I hit them too), and when our stamina is almost at zero, Then I finish the fight with a submission move (armbar) but I still get no trophy after the fight.

What am I doing wrong ?

Submission of the night thropy

Can be achieved in any "weightclass".
Submission defence at max. (for the easiest way)
Strenght 90

The submission you use for the thropy must be done in 5 fights before,
3 times in a row (public wil see that one as 'your submission').
Then you fight a championship match and do your submission
for the best results, make sure you win the match with your first submission.

i partly agree with this although i think it is only 3 times it needs to be done but i could be wrong i'd just like to add that if any of you are struggling with lightweight career submission award i found it easiest to get the undisputed belt (may not be needed) and get your sub stats around 80+ and use the triangle choke from rubber guard defense on rashad evans, just run up to him grapple if bjj go to guard, rubber guard, triangle choke and use the shine technique if possible i found that he cant ever seem to get out of this submission it will also unlock world class grappler if you havent got it hope that helps. oh and any other careers do a lot of sparring if your near the end of your career and test out different subs on your partner as he mimics your opponents fighting style and which ever one your partner struggle with your opponent should to i know its obvious but still i worked it out near the end.

I think that the gold digger achievement might be glitched due to the release of the title update, a friend of mine managed to get all of them, they were all showing on the leaderboards but no achievement; has anyone managed to get the gold digger achievement since the realse of the update?

While doing the "UFC Historian" achievement I found it easier to get them into mount and to just hit their body all the way until the end of round 3 guaranteeing a victory and not risking getting knocked out.

To easily get submission of the night max your sub offense and defense and (if you're a kickboxer) get them in the clinch first off and do a flying armbar and submit them in the first 30 seconds.

For the Hall of Fame, do people think that going to events like photo ops and such help? I usually skip them to get more training time, anyone got a clue?

I only went to like two of the events in my HOF career and those were accidents so you dont need to go to any of them, i did go 35-0 though..so..

Win a fight by flash KO in a Xbox LIVE Ranked Match with a CAF or UFC fighter.

This CANNOT be a combo. You must get lucky and knock out an opponent in a freak super man punch. Easily done when their stamina is down to a point where they are gasping for air and they look wobbly. It may be boosted.

^^^This is impossible to get i did a superman punch and knocked my friend out and it didnt give it to me what the hell do i gotta do

Win the UFC Championship in each weight class in Career Mode.

The championship comes about 12 matches into your career (if you go undefeated). Do this with every weight class and the achievement should unlock. Their are 5 weight class divisions and the title must be won with a created character in all of them.

Ok listen I won all the belts in every weight class and retired all my fighters. Why hasent my Achievement popped?

when i did this and went undefeated i ignored all photo ops and fight step ins and jut concentrated on building my stats and sparring.

Has Roster Run-Through glitched for anyone? I have gotten one fight completed with every superstar and it has unlocked. I also won a match with all four of my created characters. I have also tried going to the dashboard and restarting up the game, and still no achievement.

Would anyone by any chance happen to have any good advice for career mode? Specifacly I am having trouble in my 10th fight beating Thales Leites. He is soooo persistent with the submissions and I even have been training that with my guy. I can't beat him!

You won't go undefeated your 1st playthrough. Do you have your stamina turned on in options? Your probably not even past lvl. 1 in anything so...just loose and move on. I went undefeated in my 2nd or 3rd year and on. If he's tappin you, stay up and watch for the head kicks.
IVE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE CLAIM "OHH IN YA FACE" AFTER the patch!?!?
Any one? I've givin up on gold digger 'casue THQ dosen't care enough to pay for a fix. PLEASE ANY info on "ohh in ya face"?!?!?! I thinki its glitchy but not glitched. If also had people say they tried every possible way to get it and ...nothin' :( :uzi:UNCOMPLETABLE GAMES

Some pretty basic questions, do i get all the belts with one fighter by moving up divisions, or do i make 5 different fighters and win each belt in their class?

Also is their a better way than the tutorials to learn a good ground game, i just get pummled on the ground constantly and can't defend it, but tutorials are teaching me bot all.

Ok, let me preface this by saying if I end up having to do another career, I might pluck my eyebrows out....

I can not, for the life of me, get a Fight of the Night.

On my current Heavy Weight Career I have 3 KOs of the Night and 5 Submissions of the Night and NO FOTN!!!

I am wondering if it is because I am purely dominating the opponent?

When people got FOTN (i got a few in previous careers but no submissions in those careers), how did they do it?

Many thanks,

~refi

Thanks for the guide. I decided to finish this game off & haven't played for a couple of years so this has made some cheevos a lot clearer.

edit: Thanks for the guide but ppl definitely should look to the forum for help on Gold Digger 1-hit KO, Ooh in your face, Sub Of the Night and maybe more if you're struggling with these like I did. Other explanations don't rely on luck and prove to work.
