Apologise if anyone here hates this but there is a sale on and I do not know which game to get it's between: Devil May Cry 4 or Deadspace.
Have played neither and wanted some advice and personal opinions. I like a good FPS game and love the RPG games.
I have games such as Oblivion, CoD 4, Fable 2, Halo 1 through 3, GTA 3 through 4 and Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena.
So would like to know your opinions on these games and which you feel would suit me.
Thanking you very much.
Regards, Xodiac.

Both are great games, if you can get both. :D

Otherwise I would choose Deadspace, as this is a good survival horror FPS.

Dead Space.

DMC4 was fun, but waaaaaaaaaaay to repetitive for my liking.

I found DMC for 5 bucks so I'd grab DS.

Well I wouldn't want either personally! :p

But having said this, I believe both games have demos on the marketplace, so that should help you decide... :)

Interesting that you say that - I heard so many good things about Dead Space, but I HATED the demo. It completely put me off even touching the game. I thought it was a steaming pile of turd.

DMC4 is good if you like stylish action games, it's loads of fun but it does get very repititive after awhile. It has a good story, but like you said you like FPS and RPGs, this is neither

Then theres Dead Space, Which i love, it's full of thrills and throws you straight into the game world, and is much better than DMC4 in my opinion. (I have both) It has replayability aswell, because even on the 2nd or even third playthorugh. Because for me, i knew where the enemies where, but that made it even worse.

I could go on all day, but in short, I would choose Dead Space, it's a fun action horror game set in a creepy, eeire atmosphere. But here, i'm off

yeah the demo is dog crap, it shows you very little about the whole game, it just drops you in the middle of a brawl!!

i didnt buy it untill i played it with a friends copy of the game and saw how great it was, if you can rent it/borrow it from somewhere i would deff recomend,a must

I'd have to say Dead Space, a real quality game, good fun and thoroughly entertaining.

DMC4 was rather disappointing I felt, really quite boring, which you just wouldn't expect a DMC game to me. The main problem? Never enough enemies on screen at the same time. It just felt so... pedestrian. Hmmmmm. Maybe I needed to try it at higher difficulty levels...

But yeah mate, I'd go for a bit of Dead Space!

Whatever you choose, I hope that you enjoy it!

Dead Space for sure. One of the best survival horror games ever.

Dead Space without a doubt

Great story and I also enjoyed the different types of weapons you can choose from. Cant wait for Dead Space 2!

Also I found DMC4 very repetitive. Sure its good going through the game the first time but then you need to beat it on different difficulties and I just found it very dull. Some levels you even repeat but just go back through a differeny way.

Dead Space on the other hand , I played through it 3 times without getting bored of it. Impossible mode is not too hard on Dead Space but its a nice challenge going through it for the One Gun achievment.

Achievment wise , Dead Space is easier to get the full 1000g. It took me around 20 hours to get all of the gamerscore with the Maxed Out achievment taking the longest.

So overall verdict , Go for Dead Space. You will like the story :)

Thanks to all for the input I am currently downloading both demos and will give them a burl. Definently going to get deadspace first then DMC4 if it's still good (hopefully can borrow it from a friend).

Thanks again, Xodiac.

DMC was really fun, but as someone said earlier, very repetetive. Hack, slash, shoot, jump, repeat. I haven't played DeadSpace, I hear good things. Rent em' both or buy em' used.

I'd recommend getting Devil May Cry 4.
I have it on the PS3, although it was a bit uncomfortable mashing the buttons on the controller but I bet the 360's controller would be more easy to use for that game. The cinematics are awesome and the combat enginge is great, very entertaining.

As for Dead Space, I had a terrible experience with it so I don't ever want to see that game anywhere near my 360 ever again which is why I refuse to recommend it.

The good thing is DMC is dropping in price so it wouldn't be too harsh of a buy in case you don't find it as good as Dead Space.

Yep, yep. Chalk another recommendation for Dead Space. Never could get into Devil May Cry 4, let alone the other 3 before it.

Never could get into Devil May Cry 4, let alone the other 3 before it.

The first one was pretty good but the 2nd one had a darker feel to it so that kept me from getting into it. That and the whole 2 disc character storyline feature was somewhat disapointing. The 3rd one was terrible, if I dare say so, it was pretty hard. Never could get past the centepide boss so I dropped it.:(

Haven't played DMC4 but Dead Space is a great game. Way superior to Silent Hill, which is similar Survival Horror game.

Dead Space isn't an FPS. ;)

But it is, however, a VERY good game, another recommendation for it here.

In my personal opinion I'd say Dead Space. But I'm more of a survival horror fan myself so my opinion may be biased. But I've played DMC4 and it's a albeit repetitive.

Oh, sorry. I didn't know he'd made his decision yet.

But Dead Space was a good choice.

I played both and DMC4 was a disappointment for me and DeadSpace is just scary! So I recommended you get Deadspace. And let Nicole sing in your ear all night long.
