(http://kotaku.com/tag/final-fantasy-xiii/)Final Fantasy XIII (http://kotaku.com/tag/final-fantasy-xiii/) is a multi-platform game — which has some people worried about a dip in quality. Square Enix (http://kotaku.com/tag/square-enix/) is here to ease those fears. That's nice! "The team is targeting to create an equal experience on both the 360 and the PS3, so there are no limitations," says Final Fantasy XIII producer Yoshinori Kitase (http://kotaku.com/tag/yoshinori-kitase/). "For example, right now we're working on the PS3 version first, and once we've completed that we'll really know how much game there will be to fit onto the Xbox 360 (http://kotaku.com/tag/xbox-360/) discs."
Kitase goes on to say that Square Enix currently does not know how many discs the Xbox 360 version will need, but does offer this: "There won't be a chance that we'll compromise anything because, oh it didn't fit in the 360 discs so we'll have to take it out of the PS3 version, or vice versa."

Lost Odyssey took 4 discs but this game looks way more huge so maybe 5 or even 6 discs? That would be downright insane but a dream come true for every RPG fan

Only thing that sucks is the release date :( The last fantastic RPG i played was Lost Odyssey and that was a long time ago. It sucks waiting so long for something decent

Yea, i hope the 360 case for ffxiii is alot better then the america version for LO. I didn't like the paper sleeve that held the 4th disc. The overseas case was ALOT better with the extra hinge in the middle.

That's good, someone was telling me awhile ago they had to cut some the voice acting/quests from the 360 version.. I knew that sounded stupid the moment I heard like, PS3 may always have a superior version, FFXIII International, one comes out everytime, only in Japan too, I don't see it ever being released on the 360.

The UK version of LO had a paper sleeve as well.
5 discs is fine but any more is just silly. Maybe a nice box like the Star Ocean LE.

if you think five is a lot of discs, i had a copy of beneath a steel sky, a point and click adventure on the amiga, which had 11 game discs and 1 save, lol.
