What's the easiest way to get Plato. I've tried the Beta Centari method and I've done it for about 10 hours a day for the last 3 days and I still can't get him. Anyone have an easier way?

what I did was start a New game as the French and research only pottery. then switch to gold and wait until about 1000AD and end the game and restart if I didn't get Plato. after ~5 tries it did the trick...

This worked for me after spending countless hours on another method to get Plato, i also got Gilgamesh, Aesop, Cheops and Homer early on several times in the process, (I didn't need them by that point though)
Highly recommend someone try this method when other have failed, thanks to those for suggesting it.
