I was a big fan of VT2003 and have gained 970/1000. (Missing just three golds)

When VT2009 was announced it was looking like a day one purchase but from what I have read it is littered with bugs.

I just have a couple of queries:

- Has anyone on X360 gained 1000/1000?
- How many achievements in the game are glitched?
- When is the patch being released?

I will probably still buy at some point, but I want to make sure all the achievements are obtainable and I dont get one of the many errors/problems people are getting. Thanks!

Any of your 3 questions can't be answered at this time!! I think nobody has 1000/1000, we don't know how many chievos are glitched (possibly 3-8) and we are all praying for an update but we don't know when it will come!!

i don't think that anything is actually glitched, the game just chooses if/when it actually wants to give you anything & is likely to kill your career 10 hours in........

if you can live with that pick it up. It's not bad, just an incredibly dull & easy grind through career mode

Ah the word gullible springs to mind lol, i assume you checked mygamercard.net for your info right, well if you did then go back & check again as 3 people according to their cards have'nt even played the game & if you look through the cards you'll see they have 1000 in nearly every game & very high completion percentage's with big score's which is normally a sure fire sign of hexing or hackers plus not to mention that some have done it in 1 day & have privacy settings enalbed which with big scores is also a dead giveaway.

maybe when i said 'loads' i was exaggerating a bit?

Look mate unless you can name these people then i can assure you that not 1 person has a legit 1000 due to the coronation achievment, does'nt it seem a bit strange to you that the 1 achievement that won't unlock for thousands of people just unlocks for a select few huh, anyways unless these people done some extremely serious boosting then theirs still about 500 matchs & events online to complete for the gold medalist achievement.

Don't want to create my own thread for this so...

Which VT do you recommend, 2009 or 3? The price isn't important, as long as it's the better game. I don't care about the weak AI at the beginning either, as long as it gets challenging at the end.

Even though these two negative aspects of 2009 don't play such a big role to me, there are so many people complaining about glitches, bad online lags etc. that I'm not sure if it is any better at all, maybe even worse.

edit: Just in case there's any difference, I'm playing PAL.

3 wasn't perfect but i found it a lot more enjoyable, the progress through career mode in 2009 is just far too slow & online seems even laggier than 3 with the ball hovering in the air for a few seconds every shot.

Best thing to do i guess would be to buy 3 & finish what you can of that, by that time 2009 will be in a bargain bin for 10 so you can exchange 3 for it

VT3 is a much better game the Achiements are a lot more tough & the AI on the computer is alot more harder. ie. Duke & KIng. (My god playing doulbes against these 2 was almost impossible.)

Another good example is the Ham & Egg Achievement, it is alot more harder on VT3 than on 2009.

VT2009 is one big boring game the AI in World tour is a Joke i have not lost one game as yet.

The online is ok but the fact you have to use your own created player in Ranked games is all wrong, the options & set up online is rubbish compered to VT3.

Finally the Graphics on the players faces are bad on VT2009.

If i was you don't bother getting VT2009 you will be disapointed buy VT3 instead. i which i had not bothered but now i have stared it I have to finish it.
