This is my first guide. Yes it's a week early, but I've played Battlefield: Bad Company as well as watched the entire video with 1Up so I know a bit about the game. I'm getting it at 3 AM my time which is when it's released so I'll be able to make any edits the day of, and plan to have this guide completed the day of or the day after.

Please Note: This is a work in progress, so don't expect everything to be perfect, or accurate.

Capture five flags

This is very simple. To capture a flag, you must stand by the flag, or near the area of the flag and a bar will show up at the top. Once that bar fills up to the top, you have just captured a flag. Do this five times for the achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/-0wEaw==.jpg Best Squad - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Be in the best squad on all three maps

Not sure how this exactly works just yet. However if the squads work the same as in Battlefield Bad Company, then this achievement is pretty simple. You are in a squad of 3-5 depending on how many are in the game. To snag this achievement, your squad has to do the best out of the other squads in your team. This is achieved by points. Gain the most points from the other squads to become number 1. Points are obtained by killing or assisting in the kill of enemies, capturing flags, etc. If you've played a FPS before, you'll know how the point system works.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/+FYf6A==.jpg Tour of Duty I - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Play 30 Matches

As the description says, you must play 30 matches to gain this achievement. Not sure if you have to win, I'll let you know come release day.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/-qz8+A==.jpg Tour of Duty II - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Play one hundred matches

You must play 100 matches to gain this achievement. Seems pretty simple, only just a tad bit time-consuming. Not sure if you have to win, I'll let you know come release day.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/+w4XAQ==.jpg Defender - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Defend five flags

To get this, I believe you have to kill an enemy while they are taking one of your flags. Come release day, I'll let you know if this is the case or not.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/+u7vkg==.jpg Master of Your Domain - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Get one kill playing as each class

Unless I'm mistaken(That is, unless 1 UP is mistaken), there are only 3 classes. If that is true, then this is a very easy achievement. To get this, just kill an enemy with each of the 3 classes. The 3 classes are:

Scout
Infantryman
Rifleman

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/+M-mJw==.jpg Milkrun - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Fly a plane for 10 minutes

Not sure if the total time is tracked, so as of right now, to get this, you must fly a plane for 10 minutes in a single match. Not sure how long each game is or if you're allowed to die in the middle. I'll let you know come release day.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/+S8etA==.jpg Motorman - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Get one kill with car, tank and plane

Very simple achievement. Every map in the game has a Car(Jeep), a Tank, and a Plane. Simply kill a single enemy with each and achievement unlocked.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/+ggKug==.jpg Parachutist - 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpgUse the parachute once (2 seconds)

If this is the same as Battlefield: Bad Company's achievement, simply find a plane, fly to the highest possible attitude, and eject from the plane by exiting in mid air. I'll let you know if this is correct come release day.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/++jyKQ==.jpg The Pacific Campaign - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Win once on every map as any team

This is possibly the easist achievement in the game. There are only three maps included with Battlefield 1943, so you just have to win on each of those 3. Nothing special.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/+ncWXQ==.jpg Veteran - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Cap 25 Enemy Flags

As the description says, you must capture 25 Enemy Flags. To do so, follow your HUD until you reach a red flag marker. Capture the flag. This takes twice as long as capturing a Neutral flag, since you have to change the flag to neutral and then change it to your team. Once you have captured your first, rinse and repeat 24 times for this achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/963/+5fuzg==.jpg Melee Man - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Melee kill one enemy player

Simply walk up to an enemy with your melee weapon drawn out and kill him with it. If your having difficulty, try to sneak up on the enemy from behind for a stealth kill.

I didn't know what the achievements were until now. I am glad to say I am getting this game on release, since they are fairly easy.

Nice English....

I don't plan to ask for acceptance until I'm positive that my guides are accurate. I've played previous Battlefield games, as well as well an entire 30 minute video of them demoing the game. I even saw how two of the achievements were unlocked. Of course I don't have the game yet, but the achievements are easy and understandable enough that someone who never even played a single Battlefield game should know how to unlock them.

Trust me, I would not steer Xbox360a's members wrong by giving them a deceitful achievement guide. As soon as the game is released I'll put my guides and theories to the test.

Depending on if the descriptions are accurate, you can most likely obtain all the achievement in a day, if not in a hour! The only two achievements that will take some time are the Tour of Duties. But they're not hard, just time consuming.

Dude, plenty of people have posted guides for games before they even come out. I, myself, made the one for 3 on 3 NHL Arcade a week before it came out, because I played the PS3 version (Which came out a week earlier than the 360). I didn't know exactly everything about the game, but since no one started working on one and I felt confident that I could start one up, I went ahead and made one prior.

He'll be accepted just as much as anyone else on here trying to make an achievement guide, and by my judgment, it looks pretty good so far. He'll only have to tweak it a bit come next Wednesday.

If the achievement says play 30/100 matches, I'm not sure why you think you have to win.

ITD Soldierboy

I believe you just have to play and not win. However I've seen countless times before when a achievement description said one thing, and it really meant the other.

On release, if I unlock the 30 without winning 30, I'll just assume that it also is the same with the 100, and take out the part about the winning.

This thread is ridiculous. Why would you make a guide for a game that hasn't come out yet & you obviously haven't played? This is just because you wanted to do the guide for this game so you put one out before anyone else can, because most people would actually wait until PLAYING the game themselves. It's like calling "I got dibs!" on this game. Sad. Lol.

If you really wanted to make a guide, why not get the game the minute it comes out.....play the crap out of it and actually get all the achievements. THEN MAKE A GUIDE. But that would make sense.

Besides, do we really need a guide for this game? I think the descriptions really say it all. Just another reason this "guide", and this thread in general, is completely worthless.

Every game needs a guide. Even Avatar has a guide.

Just because he made this thread doesn't mean no one else can make a guide. All he is doing is setting everything up so once he does play the game and get the achievements everything will be set so he can just type in the descriptions. He won't have to set the outline then because it will already be done.

I 100% agree.

Wow, who would of thought that posting a guide 5 days before the release would send the babies come crawling out of their holes? You know what? I don't care if you don't like it. I'm trying to help people so come release day, if they do actually need any help, they can look at this Guide.

Plus you're not true that people wait until release to post a guide. I've seen loads of games with Guides that were posted days and weeks before the game actually came out.

Don't read my guide if you don't like it! I wouldn't care if you printed it out and took a shit on it! Your opinions mean nothing to me; and no, I'm not calling dibs. There's games that have over 3 guides for them!(Take a look at Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince's forum) Besides, I feel sorry for you if you're getting mad a an Achievement guide on Xbox360a. Go get a life.

I'm basing my info off previous Battlefield games. Once it is released, I'm immediately buying it, and putting my theories to the test.

Thank you to the people that actually support this guide. For those that have questions or comments, please feel free to ask, and I'll give as much help as I can.

Babies? Lol. This is a video game forum. People are entitled to their own opinions, whether you like them or not. Forums give people a way to voice those opinions. And my opinion is it's ridiculous to make an "Achievement Guide" for a game that you haven't even played yet.

I don't read every forum on this site. If I ran into another game where someone did this same thing, I would tell them the same thing I told you. And I am not getting "mad" about anything. I just find it stupid, that's all. And apparently you "having a life" still gives you time to manufacture an 'Achievement Guide' for a video game that hasn't been released and you haven't played yet. But yeah, I am the one who needs a life? Lol.

Theories? Are you kidding me? Can you read? I think the descriptions of each achievement pretty much sum up what you need to do. If you have to have a "theory" about capturing 5 flags, you need some serious help. And playing Battlefield: Bad Company (which I also play) has nothing to do with this. Just because you played that game, that means you should write a guide for a game you haven't played yet?

How about this....purchase the game. Play the game. Get all the achievements. Come back and here and write a guide on how you got all those achievements (although I have no idea why anyone would need a guide for this game). I think it's a pretty simple formula. Oh well. To each their own. Not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, but I really do think it's ridiculous to write a guide for a game you haven't played.

Or maybe I just don't like 14 yr. olds who type numbers to replace letters in their gamertag to try to look 'cool'. Lol.

I'm not 14, I'm 17.
This guide took me five minutes. Posting a reply to you took 10. If you have a life, then why pester me about an achievement guide when you clearly state you don't think it needs one? Yeah...at least I use my time to help people, you on the other hand....

You're right. I shouldn't write a guide based off of another game for this one. But you're missing the point. 1943 will be very similar to the other Battlefield games, so unless they wildly changed it, it will be the same.

Fine keep your opinion. My opinion is that your a baby who whines about stuff until they get what they wanted.

If you don't like it, then don't read it, I don't really care. I feel sorry for you that you like to argue on a internet forum for some stupid reason about something that doesn't even matter in life. If you're claiming you have a social life, then why do you post arguments on a website. Once again, I feel sorry for you, especially if your over 16 and feel the need to argue on the internet.

This is from the guide to writing Achievement Guides, which can be found HERE (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61662).

Play the game, and get most or all of the achievements.

Pretty self-explanatory. If you haven't played the game, you would have no idea what to put in the guide. Depending on the game, you need to have most or all of the achievements before you can know how to get them or start the guide.

Starting a guide for a game that is not out yet is not allowed 99% of the time. If you were lucky enough to get the game early, or if the game is a direct port (i.e. the game actually is out already, just not on the 360), then contact a Guide Team member (preferably with proof) for permission to start the guide early. Make sure to mention that you have special permission at the top of the guide or it's likely to be accidentally deleted. ;)

If you start a guide, especially if it's for a new game, you have an obligation to work on it immediately. Even if the game is out, that doesn't allow you to start a guide if you're not going to work on it for days.
