Love the arcade and voice chat. Disappointed with marketplace. Hasn't been a demo in over a month! And very little content is added (Unless you count movie clips *thumbs down*

Full Auto Demo was barely 3 weeks ago.

Anyway, my biggest annoyance was this...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v463/skyypirate/frz.jpg

But ever since they fixed it, I've been pretty damn satisified. The one minor annoyance I have is that a USB thumb drive can be used to store music and pictures, but you can't use it to backup saved games. That's frigging retarded.

only think i was dissapointed is no built in wireless connection, it would of cost MS a wole 5 dollars more, but i guess its better for them since now they sell them for 100 M$ is so dirty.

gotta stop piracy somehow....but thanks to Xplorer360 you can look into the 360 and retrieve your saved game files along with whatever pictures you have takin in games

It think it would have been possible to make using a USB drive as a save device without allowing for piracy right out of the box. When you think about it, even the way it is now, once the copy protection is cracked, a person could probably put a 360 game .iso on their ipod and execute it that way.

taht would be awesome

g4m3r7ag
02-21-2006, 11:11 PM
yrea but you could go buy a 128mb thumbdrive for like 30 bucks, instead of having to pay 40 for the 64mb microsoft thingamabob

graf1k
02-22-2006, 12:00 AM
And THAT is exactly why I think it's not possible. Not to prevent piracy or anything like that. Just to ream people on accessories.

Happy with - Xbox dashboard / xbl / good variety in launch games / gamerscores

not happy with - number of games that are just slightly upgraded ports for $60 / no game that is a must play/
marketplace / xbox live mic (a little bitch I know)

BUT with so many good games coming I will be extremly happy with it in a few months

I'll be happy and extremely poor in March.

Like: the look, the ease of use, marketplace
dislike: mediocre games thus far (i know, i know they are launch games but lets be honest not earth shattering) , god damn xbl lag i didnt have live with my old xbox so the only experience ive had of xbox1 games on live is halo2 and that is faultless 95% of the time why cant the new games be the same? (im looking at you here COD2! ;) )

Love my 360. No complaints. The games have been just fine for me - still have plenty left to play, even before the March rush hits us. Love my Oakland Raiders faceplate. ;) Love the feel of the controllers, the wireless network adapter works great, I also have the VGA cable (only for LAN parties), and that works great too.

My only complaint is that my HDTV doesn't support 720p, so everything gets upscaled to 1080i for me. Not the 360's fault, but something I'd still like to have...

I'm enjoying the 360 so far. I love Live Arcade and it's only been out for over 2 months. I'm really looking forward to what will be released in the coming months. There are some good games out so far, but there's some great ones coming out in the coming months. And if the games look really good at the moment, imagine what they'll be like in a couple of years.

I am very happy with my 360 so far. Some of the games out now are fun, but seem a little rushed. It would be nice to have more to choose from, but March is right around the corner. The achievements are an awesome feature (and very addicting ;) ), and the media conect makes it nice for changing the music in-game to something I want to listen to.

You know what really grinds my gears?

when games are released with gaping holes that need to be patched such as COD2,DOA4 or unatainable achievements pgr3, tiger woods dont games get tested anymore ???

(i now realise that this is more to do with the games rather than the 360 but what the hell!)l

Crash
02-23-2006, 02:35 PM
Yeah, the faulty achievements is terrible. You would think that someone would test them and make sure they are all unlockable, or at least make a patch available if one slips through.

i think the hardware more than holds its own against the PS3, which was unexpected from all the hoopla sony ranted about for the last 2 years...and now with a pathetic game lineup, i think sony is putting the final nails in its coffin. i could do without the occasional overheating thou, i still happens about twice a month and ive done everything possible to stop it.

Really impressed with how the live service and range of games. Was bit sceptical when it first came out but has really shaped up now

I have no complaints so far. The hardware has held up for me. The controller is sleek and comfortable. The games are enough to hold me over until Halo 3. Plus, Xbox Live is probably the greatest online gaming service I've ever used. Not to mention I didn't even know about the Gamerscore until I got the system. It's a great way to get me to play games I would not naturally try.

I really like the way Microsoft has integrated all the games together on Live... it takes a lot of time/money/effort to do that, and I think its going to be a while until the competition catches up in this aspect. Hardware-wise... well... the accessories are very solidly built... love the wireless controllers and have heard nothing but good things about the steering wheel. The actual console itself... not so good... my brand new 360 broke in 3 weeks with only minimal usage on weekends :(...

I love mine.
As a PC gamer it was hard for me to actually get into console gaming. I have owned all the consoles that come out but never really stuck with them. I am proud to say I cant put the 360's controler down now.
