I know you're new here, so here's a couple of things to get you started:

This Achievement Guide is nowhere near even being moderate.

You have to submit pictures with the worth and name of the actual Achievements.
Then, you should write the guide in a way that somebody who never played this game before can understand it.
The layout should look decent, too.

Read this thread carefully, everything you need to know about creating an Achievement Guide is in here:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61662

Also, we already have a pretty good Achievement Guide for this game:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=156858

Maybe you should read through the Achievement Guides "Guide" and check out the guide for Fight Night 4 that I posted above, that should get you started!

I hope this helped!

this is a text based site not a video based site like per say youtube.com...for gods sake give people a little credit...they can figure this stuff out...

Wow, I tried this the easy and friendly way, but what the hell:

You guide looks like shit.

First of all, I DIDN'T write the guide I referred to. If you would've checked it out, you would have seen that the guide was written by KING COREY 23.

Secondly, why are you being a complete asshole?

You're new on this site and you're bashing me for trying to help your achievement guide get better?
As Walter Sobchak in Big Lebowski said "This is not 'Nam, there are rules!"

as far as the PICTURES of the achievements...i really don't think that that is going to make that much of a differance...the achievements are listed and they can refer to the achievement list on their console...or on this very site...i mean really...i would like everyone that views this guide to say if the pictuers and KWL Y button you put on your guide Helped them...or if text would have worked just as well...

Your Guide has to look good.
I never said that you guide was lacking detail, my point was that the layout should look decent, too.
For instance, it's common that all the buttons are shown with actual little green A, yellow Y pictures, etc..

the guides for instance that i looked up on this site about how to beat Tyson and ali didn't really seem to be as helpful as my section about having a heavy Left or right handed character in order to have more DEF else where...

Actually, I hate to break it to you, but your way is pointless.
I doubt that anybody on these forums had a problem with the way it was described in the Achievement Guide.
Set the number of rounds to 1, round time to 1min, adjust the sliders, throw some jabs/counters and there you go.

What you probably not know is that you can post your guide in a thread where only admins and mods see it, to decide if it can get posted on the main site.
That's why there are some obligations you have to follow if you want it to get posted there.
And the way it looks now, it's not ever going to be posted there.

Also, it's no problem if you write another guide although we already have one. The only thing is, it makes the other guy feel stupid and unappreciated, because someone posted another guide when his was near-perfect.

So next time, try to actually THINK about my post being constructive criticism instead of taking it personally and bashing me for trying to help you.
When I did my first achievement guide, I got flamed by everybody that read it, because it wasn't good enough.
I wanted to spare you this because everyone that's new to this site deserves an explanation and some help.

I never tried to be an ass or bash you (which you obviously thought), I wanted to give you some things to get started.

LOL ok well sorry if I "took it personal" its just you came off cocky as hell and seemed as if though you were just bashing me. I really was just trying to help people. So yeah, when trying to help people gets this kind of response it is not hard to see why I would come back so defensive. I was not trying to out do the other guy or make him feel unapreciated. I was simply trying to help people out. Next time I'll use more glitter and pictures that are unneeded in an attempt to captuer the attention of people with imagry rather than content.

I am actually using your method and like it. I like the way you made your guide so i know which achievements i should have at that point in my game.

Thank you it is good to know that the hour it took me to write this actually helped someone. At the end of the day that is all I was trying to do. Check out my complete guide for the rest of the achievements.

First off Distanc3 - Welcome to the x360a website/forums

2nd of all - I like the layout and beginning strategy of your guide. I believe I posted a reply on it.

3rd of all - And please don't take this personal as it is intended to be constructive criticism but you don't dictate how your guide will look like with the "glitter and pictures". The admins and moderators do. Its their website that they have provided to us to use...its there rules. They have a thread set up at this location:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/f...ad.php?t=61662 (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61662)

In it they are very specific as to what they expect for example:

Overview (click a number to go there):
1) Find a game where the guide does not exist or needs significant improvement. (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=720352#post720352)
2) Play the game, and get most or all of the achievements.
3) Get a properly-formatted achievement list. (Guide skeleton) (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=720725#post720725)
4) Post here to tell the community you're working on the guide. (With a list of guides in progress) (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=723041#post723041)
5) Write the guide. (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=723210#post723210)
6) Submit the guide in the Submit Forum. (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=723587#post723587)
7) Receive thanks and signs of gratitude. (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=723620#post723620)
FAQ (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=723620#post723620)

There are the steps to follow. I suspect you might be able to deviate a little in regard to you are more or less combining a Achievement guide and Achievement map all in one which is cool...and the admins or mods will tell you whether or not its acceptable when you submit it. I personally think its a cool deal for someone to spend some time doing it properly and then having their hard work stickied and linked directly from the achievement checklist.

This guy here posted (and I'm only going to paste in the beginning of it as you can scroll up if you need reminded):

I know you're new here, so here's a couple of things to get you started:
Which to me I saw nothing offensive about it...he was only trying to tell you that there are helpful threads to help you out which I think is cool about as much as I think its cool your trying to help the rest of us out...and daenius has been around for a bit so he knows whats up.

Then you posted (and I'm only going to paste in the beginning of it as you can scroll up if you need reminded):

Never mind your just jaded because i posted a guide for something that you had already posted...LOL...that's kinda sad...and I took a look at your guide...The reply you posted basically put you in the "Your acting like a jerk who is new to the website" and I know that is not what you probably intended. You have to be respectful in order to get respect. We're all just trying to help out and I give you a bit of respect for helping out as well. But be mindful of others. They only react based on your action and words.

Daenius only started acting like a jerk to you cause you acted like one to him. Keep up the good work...I am very much interested in putting your guide to the test this weekend and confirming your work and/or helping out any inconsistancies that may arise.

Good Luck and Have Fun!!!

Yeah I got this message after I migrated and merged this guide with my legacy and Xbox Live achievement guide. If you would like to take a look at it by all means do so. It will take some of the uncertainty and confusion out of legacy that I felt when using some other guides.

Allow me to simply say that this was my first post and I was looking for HEY GREAT GUIDE or and this is very important...your guide could be improved if you "insert what needs to change here". The fact that he brought up a link to the rules was helpful, because lets face it most of it is spilled out there; however, I was looking for more individualized help. The rules will help and I will use them on my next post, but I really think that my complete guide looks good, is easy to navigate, and is pretty well composed. I will take a look at the rules and see what they say and then if you reply to the message I sent you I will include something about them in my reply to you.

Don't sweat it dude...hell in the navy...we just submit the report and if they don't like it...they crap it back to us...and we change it around to what they do like.

In regard to "Hey Great Guide" I've expressed my thoughts. Keep charging dude...so far from what I've seen...and I've probably got some more reading to do...your's is the best attempt I've seen...and you obvously have put a lot of time into it...don't let it go to waste.
