So I was on the GameStop website, just looking at prices and such. Then I come across MLB 2K9, price drop to $19.99 new and $18.99 used. I thought, seriously?! That's a ridiculous drop in price considering we haven't even hit the half way marker in the season, and the game has only been out just over 4 months. Hell, MLB Front Office Manager has been out 2 months longer and still cost $29.99 new and $24.99 used. I wasn't too impressed with the demo personally, so my question is, is this game that bad?

No, it isn't despite a few glitches. The only reason it's 20 bucks new right now is because of the sale Gamestop is having. The price drop will probably be permanent but for 20 bucks it's a decent game. It definitely isn't bad.

Yeah, it's pretty good. I thought I got a good deal when it hit $40 the other week, probably would have payed $60 tbh. i would get in soon cuz I doubt that price drop will stay, this is only July.

Just be warned though, the card achievements are an absolute bitch.

Yeah, I ended up buying it. I got it Friday, and I'm at like 685G already. It's not too hard in some places, but your right, the cards are a bitch, I have all the Classic ones so far, but the player specific ones are gonna suck! Oh well... and anyone reading this that had the 2K achievement, if you wouldn't mind letting me get that from you, please message me, and I'll help you with what you need as well. Thanks!

I picked it up on the same deal and after initial frustration, I am satisfied with my trade.
