I love their site. Took this off a website, thought you might be interested.

http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/kotaku/2009/08/darkpackbanner2.jpgThe Behemoth (http://kotaku.com/5343404/chainsaw-finally-coming-to-castle-crashers) confirmed yesterday that the long-awaited Chainsaw weapon (http://kotaku.com/5046519/castle-crashers-getting-new-characters-new-weapons) will be part of an upcoming, yet undated, DLC. It's "Necomantic," boogie-woogie-woogie.
The pack includes two new characters - the Necomancer (natch) and the Cult Minion. There will also be a new Animal Orb - the Dragonhead, and two weapons: the NG Skull Mace and the chainsaw.
"Yes, ... the damn Chainsaw," writes Kelly for The Behemoth.
"We will post the date as soon as we find out!" Kelly adds. That goes for the price, too. "Once again, this is completely up to Microsoft. But I can leave you with a tantalizing ... SOON."

This is good news and all, but when are we going to get some REAL DLC for this game? You know, like, more than just characters and weapons?

Are there new achievements on their way too? If not then I don't think I will get the pack even though the chainsaw looks very tempting.

I've known about these for quite a while but won't be buying them. The reason there aren't any new levels or quests is probably due to Tom Fulp working on a new game.

It took him and the other few guys about four years to make Castle Crashers, seeing as I have been talking to the team on and off over the years it's been a really long projects so i wouldn't expect them to release anything else for this game which will take them time to make.

I'm pretty sure Tom is sick of this game, I have seen his frustrations over the years while making this, have to admit i'm surprised he even finished it.

I enjoyed the King Pack to the extent a $1.25 price tag allows. If this one is another little, cheap expansion, I'll probably pick it up. I just hope Microsoft doesn't say "all right, we'll add 2 new characters, 2 new weapons, and a pet, BUT we'll also add 4 achievements to the game to kick the price up from 100-200 points, to 400-800 points!"

Honestly, I may grab this just because I have some spare points, so if it's about 80, sure, MAYBE 120. Anything more then that, I'm iffy. I beat the game, it was a fun one, but I honestly can't see going back to play it again. I have too many other games to get. I heard the King Pack was good for what it cost, and I agree that I'd rather shell out out 100-200 pts for this for new characters, weapons and a pet. However, the only real way to get me to play this game again from start to end would be to add achievements.

Honestly, it'd give me something to do at work, anyhow :D
