Hey guys one of my favorite things about unlocking new achievements is the small tile that you get to display on your gamer card. So im wondering what games you think have the most dedication into the achievement tiles specificaly.

For me im gonna have to say crackdown Just because of how colorfull they are and how the managed to cram so much art onto such a small space. I also love how the are all uniqe, I hate it when games recycle the same tiles for similar achievements or sometimes even the whole list *cough* prince of persia *cough*

From the youtube video of the Beatles Rock Band achievement, the tiles looks amazing and colorful.

Lego Indy is nicely done...loads of quotes from the movies.

I find "Belloq's staff is too long." really comical too. Sorry!

Yeas Pipboy ftw. Bioshock has nice tiles also, even though they heavily got influenced by Fallouts Pipboy. Mirrors Edge also had nice ones with their good use of colours and style.

Is that speculation?

Even the descriptions are humorous.

Yeas it is. It's just that they feel so same to me that I seriously think they got Influenced by Pipboy.

Left 4 Dead
Battlefield: Bad Company
Mass Effect
Oblivion (I don't know why)

A cross between Mass Effect-Fallout 3-Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

I like the emblems and medals while also liking the occasional Vault Boy ;].

Guitar Hero 3, I don't really know why, I just really like them. Every other GH game's tiles look kinda cartoony and horrible in comparison. Especially GHGH ones which are all the same colour.

Bioshock came out first. They're both inspired by 50s style advertising.

Also, it's Vault Boy.

Why is it I only just understood the reference of the "Hey It's-A-Me!" achievement in Mirror's Edge? Eesh. I've not been paying attention obviously.

On Topic:

I'd have to agree with Fallout 3 having some of the best tiles I've seen. Also, Shadow Complex has some awesome tiles.

Yeah, but I believe he was referring specifically to the achievement tiles. Either way Bioshock didn't rip them off.

It is Fallout 3. In the distant days of the -90s there were Fallout 1 and 2, in which traits were given pictures of Pipboy (Check it, its Pipboy not Vault boy.) in related action (Firing Akimbo for Ambidexterous. Having big muscles for strong etc.)

I would say Lego Batman or possibly Bioshock personally. I wouldnt know about Fallout 3 because I only have 3 achievements so far

It's definitely Vault Boy (the mascot for the Vault-Tec Corporation), the Pip Boy is the thing you wear on your arm (stands for Personal Information Processor - manafactured by RobCo Industries)

And yes...I DO know too much about Fallout.

Back On Topic (Again):

Ghostbusters had some really good tiles too, they did remind me of Fallout 3 too, it's the whole mascot in different poses thing that does it.

You say 'check it' even though a quick google shows it's Vault Boy, not Pipboy.

http://www.nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=7623 - Question 5

And as I said they're both based of 50s style advertising, so you can hardly say Bioshock ripped off Fallout.

Ok I checked it and I was wrong. Tsk. When do I learn to check everything, even the things I'm 100% sure.
So sorry about this.

Fallout and Bioshock do not rip off eachother. Me and a friend already had a discussion about this. They feel similar because of the situation they are in. They both have the 50's futuristic feel. Bioshock in the 60's and has essences of the future. Fallout 3 is in the future in the year 2277 and has essences of the 50's. The feeling is similar, but the environments are completely different.

On topic:

Fallout 3 for pics, Banjo-Kazooie for names (Shower of Gold)

Way to double post two equally useless posts. This has already been discussed.

On-topic: I kinda like WaW's too, they look a lot more clear then other tiles. Simple but neat looking.
