Which one should I get Battlefield 1943 or Marvel vs Capcom 2. I don't have any fighters but I have halo, L4D, and the orange box.

1943

Simple as that

Gameplay is soo much better and it is also an easy 200G

I only have MvC2 and the achievements are hard and i have already got bored of the game and wished id got 1943 so don't make my mistake

If you have played MvC2 before and were good at it, then get that, if not then get 1943.

I used to be awesome but that was in Local mode lol

Well i haven't tried MvC2 on the arcade yet, but i can say that 1943 is spectacular.

MvC2 the Demo is only Local mode =/ which is kinda stupid

That it is.

You'd imagine they'd at least let you fight an AI or something.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 is much better. What isn't there to like? It's one of the best fighters ever created. Battlefield 1943 is a good game, but again, I enjoy MvC 2 more.

I don't understand the point in this thread to be completely honest though. It's like asking whether or not you should get an apple or an orange. They're two totally different things with two totally different offerings. It's all about what you're into. Do you want a first-person-shooter or do you want a classic fighter?

I know, it should re-make the demo and put 3 levels of the Arcade mode =)

Tussell is right...there are too many differences betwen MvC2 and 1943 to make a realistic comparison. The only offering I can give you is that you might get more playability value out of BF 1943. This is my opinion only and MvC2 fans would definitely object.

I have purchased both and have played the shit out of BF 1943 though. MvC2 I have barely touched....both excellent arcade game purchases.

I think Splosion Man or BF1943 are my next purchase/s

Both games I feel wont last long [unless ofcourse you are master at MvC2, or dont mind playing tbe same map 3 or 4 times in a row]

I played BF1943 SOLIDLY for the week it came out and got the full 200G, now it barely gets played, sometimes I'll go on it but the lack of classes and the same repeating maps kills it for me and I find myself dashboarding it quickly after 1 or 2 games

MvC2 is fun when it goes right for you, too many times have I raped arcade mode with so many perfects etc etc and then randomly on stage 6 or whatever ONE of their characters will whip out a combo that defeats everyone in a single move [exageration but you get the point]

Its at these moments that I regret buying the game, it frustrates the hell out of me when it happens, my advice would be to spend you're money elsewhere [unless as I said you dont mind the same maps or are master at MvC2]

Just decide for yourself. If you cant decide then watch some trailers or get both
