there is a place when you enter castle doom on the prolouge mission. its shortly after the original teams you star with splits up and you can begin to chose diffrent characters. You will enter a room and a short cutscene will be shown of robots breaking a large glass window down. The game will autosave at this point, you can take out these robots and built up your training and mastery stats as well as your character specific fusions. This is a good spot to rack up juggernaut kills to.

Once you have cleared the room, which will only take less than a minute, manually save the game so your stats will be saved...exit out to main menu..and then select continue game. You will start right at the spot where the robots enter but you will have saved your stats!

Just found this out and thought id share.

Another odd one (and probably seen by most everyone) is that if you go around an HQ and collect all of the goodies, then play a sim mission, when you leave, all of those collectibles (except the audio log) will be replaced by xp! If you really wanted to grind, you could do it that way too.

cool find, but I'll stick to the simulator missions.
