Remember Hori? The always inventive Japanese peripheral maker that churned out a wearable button masher. Check out their latest offering: a Microsoft approved, rapid-fire Xbox 360 controller. Retailing for about $30 US, the controller is tricked out with A, B, X and Y buttons that can be set at a rate of 13 or 26 pps (presses-per-second). Hellooo Xbox Live.

LOL this is the exact controller I was about to post about. I have already ordered it from overseas and it was shipped out last week. I will give a review once I get it. I am hoping that it will help me with DOA, since the stick sure didn't.

Pretty sweet, makes me think on the eraser trick...

When you say handy for Live, what game required heavy mashing?

DOH! I just got this controller in the mail yesterday and i went to hook it up and it has a different connector on it, (it's not usb) I am not sure but I think maybe the japan spec 360's have different connectors?

awwwww, maybe you can sell them on ebay? I'm sorry to hear that man, or maybe there might be a converator.

Well I emailed the company I got it from asking for an rma number, or to exchange it for one with usb. There is one of these controllers for sale on Ebay right now that says USB, so I don't know what gives.

Yes, I can post pictures tonight as soon as i get home from work. I actually took pictures last night planning on posting them until I got to the part about the connector not being USB, then I got miffed and just played NFSMW.

Leave the Blacklist 15 alone. What did they ever do to you?

That's insane though that it has a different connector. I'm almost positive the Japanese 360s use USB too. If that was normal, wouldn't LikSang say so on their website? Maybe they just sent up the right brand controller, just wrong console.

I did not order from Liksang, I ordered from play-asia.com, however the controller on both websites looks the same to me. The connector on this controller I got is similiar to a PC PS/2 connector for a non-usb mouse or keyboard.

Yeah, I just said Lik Sang because that's where I saw it. But either way if it's non-USB they should definitely say so on their website. I think they sent you a PC controller by mistake...

Nah...it says 360 all over it....it has the 360 guide button...it is definately a 360 controller. The connection is PS/2 "like" the inside of the connector does not have the pins a normal PS/2 connector has...it has a strange "L" shaped pin. I will take pictures tonight.

Does it have the quick disconnect part on the controllers cord? If so, maybe you can plug the usb end of a normal controller into it.

I just thought of something....I do not have a normal wired controller for my 360. But don't the wired controllers have breakaways? I may be looking at the breakaway....I need to double check my packaging to see if there is another piece.

OK....LOL if it turns out that this is what it is....in my defense I have two wireless controllers and i have not seen the breakaway before and I don't know what they look like. But if someone has a wired controller with a breakaway, could someone loook inside their connector and tell me if it has an "L" shaped plastic pin on the inside?

OMG OMG OMG I feel like such a friggin moron. I just called my house to speak with my wife about this and have her search my packaging for this controller breakaway. I forgot about this but after I opened my controller last night I did not immediately try it out, as I placed it on our countertop. Well my 2 year old got a hold of the controller and apparently pulled the breakaway off and that is why I did not see it. My wife found the breakaway in another room of the house. LOL

can….we….just…..delete…this…whole….thr ead….LOL ;D
