It's not easy. and it's not hard. It's pretty easy but time consuming! It takes about 35-40 hours for the 1000. I just finished the last level now I need to get undefeated on it. Then I have the 10 bounty hunter missions, episode VI super story, and lego city. I have put about 28 hours into it. So if you can play it that much in a week rent it... VERY fun game!!!

25+ hours to get most of the achivements and then it can take longer to get the undefeated ones on flying levels. Depends on how good u get at it.

It was easy for me but I do agree it was time consuming, prepare to restart alot and have plenty of patients for the vehicle levels

I thought it was all pretty easy with guides. The only hard part is Death Star II undefeated, gotta have patience.

i thought it was easy to get the 900 but the only advice i would give is to collect as much as you can on your first play through because if you dont i can be time consuming going back and getting true jedi on all the levels.

I just got my first 1000 on it, took about 30 hours of play.

the game clock showed me at 24:15:08 (hours:min:secs) when i finished 1000 points. the only real challenge here is completing the flying levels without dying. its not too bad once you use the snowspeeder in every flying level (what i did) because any flying level other than Hoth, the speeder is too small of a target to hit most times.

BEST WAY TO GET 1000 IN IT FROM SCRATCH WOULD BE:

1st attempt(story) - beat the regular story and get all true jedi (dont waste any $) find brick #5 (death star 1)

2nd attempt(free play) - buy x2 multiplier, get the canisters, power bricks, true jedi(very easy with x2 multiplier)

3rd attempt(free play) - u should have some undefeated achievements by now so just finish up undefeated and grab whatever u missed

this should take care of the annoying parts now all u have to do is just beat the bonus missions, bounty hunter, Lego city. save up all ur money the only thing u should waste money on is multipliers and cheap power ups. i suggest buying infinite missiles(900,000).. makes flying bonus missions achievements much easier. once u did all that u should have 99 gold bricks go outside and build the fountain witch constantly spits out studs and have all ur multipliers on.. jump around the fountain for about 10min and u should have enough to buy everything.... click..achievement unlocked

this process should take about 10-15 hrs depending on how good u are.

hope this helped. enjoy

it would people take like 24 hours to get a 1000 but the other achievements aren't that hard just use a ghost to complete all the levels without dying.

24 hours, must be above avergae gamers then.
i dont think it is that easy, especially the flying levels are a pain in the arse...

also took me a few goes at some levels to get true jedi,
and i still havent figured out the stupid bonus levels....

I think I clocked about 33 hours in the game. But i got all the flying missions undefeated in one try except that Death Star II.

i'll completely agree here.
i have 900/1000. i still havent gotten the flying stages achievements just yet.

but i have yet to try the method of using 2 controllers, and having controller 2 take all the damage while controller 1 picks up the health. i'll get around to it soon, and i hope its not too difficult.

if its anything like the first lego starwars game it is easy but it takes to much time.so i suggest just beat the whole game in one sitting so you dont have to do it later

I have to agree. This is not an easy 1000 pt game. To be honest, I shelfed this gmae for about 2 months because it pissed me off trying to get those undefeated flying missions. A couple of days ago to took it off the shelf and I completed the ones that have been driving me crazy. Now all I need is the 100% completion which should not take long with a guide.

I love these lego star wars games. They are funny and they bring out the kid in me. I will definately buy the new one. Lego Star Wars complete saga. I just hope it does no t have these damn undefeated achievements.

I finally got the 1000 last night. That damn 100% sucks. I hate the super stories. Anyway, it was not a hard game, but it takes a lot of time and patience to get the full 1000 pts.

And alot of thumb garring moments as well as a strong need to resist the urge to throw your controller. ;)
Other than that I really enjoyed the game.

Actually it was pretty easy. I rented it for 5 days and beat it in 21 hours. I really enjoyed this game. Definitely worth giving it a try. As for the "dreaded death star achievement" honestly it wasn't that bad. It took me 5 tries to do. RENT IT. It's fun and hilarious.

I'd say it's a 500+g game. Since I haven't played it in a while, I'm currently at 450/1000. It's a fun game, there's no doubt about it. But seeing as I'm trying to get some time in on it, my opinion will obviously change. I've read, and I hear, that the undefeated flying levels are a pain. But all in all, if gamer score isn't that important to you, this is a definite buy. That is, if your willing to pay an extra $23 or $19 extra and if not, a definite rent. So go out there, buy/rent this game and say goodbye to sunlight for a couple of weeks!:D

I've been doing this game via rentals and it took me three rentals to get 980 points, but I'm also a grad student, so I can't play more than about three hours a day. With a guide in hand, you can get at least 970 points pretty easily and the last 30 are undefeated flying missions and those are a lot harder. Good luck.

Yes its an easy 1000, with a guide. I used syonyx guide on gamefaqs because its the most thorough. I'd say you could do it in a week but you will definately have to put in a ton of hours a night/day whatever. My game clock was at 30+ hours when I finally had the 1000. Also, those flying undefeated achievements were ridiculously easy using a rubber band to hold down the x button. I got them all in one try except speeder showdown, which I had trouble with for some weird reason, and death star II took me two tries. Youre going to have to play through the game like 3-4 times to get the full 1000.
