A guy on my friends list sent out a msg to everyone on his friends list, stating that you can get 2000 points per online ranked match but that you needed 8 people to do it. I have yet to hear back from him and was wondering if anyone else out there knows anything about this? Any tips would be greatly appreciated, not only by me, but by many many many gamers!! :uzi:

There is no reason for you to get 2000 points in a ranked match.
If you are refering to the achivement then it is 2000 points overall and not in one match. I suppose you might be able to get the kills up to 2000 in a player match with unlimited points and time.

I think if everyone keeps passing the flags back and forth without actually scoring it you would get points relatively quickly. The hard part would be finding a whole room of people who agree to it.

Even if ur picking and dropping flags u can't get 2000 points. And there are always people who will just kill you if you try to do it.

basicly it is imposible.

You just huddle around the flag and someone on the other team throws it to everyone hundreds of times. It works, it's just hard to find a full room of willing people. Contact me on this site if you're more interested in the details.

Dont think that would work becaus each game-type has limitations before it ends, and how many total points your team can earn. For ex., in a war game, you can only reach 100 points before the game ends.(Or the time runs out)

there is something out there called bridging. If u look at the leaderboards, there are 4 people that have 40000 points and less than a hundred games played. once a match starts, the one doing the bridge uses the internet to boot everyone out of the match exept the few he is doing this with. They give him their IP address and he kicks everyone out of the match except those few. i think its complete fucking bullshit!!!! excuse my language, but iv put about 2000 hours into the game and im not quiete there yet...they put 2 days into it and have it. thats the lowest low come cheating. boosting with someone is one thing...but this is complete garbage. check out the leaderboard and see if u can find em.

2000 hours? You do realize that's 83 days -- full 24-hour days. I doubt if you've even put in half of that. 2000 hours is obsurd. The game has only been out for a little over 100 days, too...

To get so many points in one match you would have to bridge. People used to do it in Halo 2 to boost up their stats also.

I think he was responding to the wrong thread. There was a thread in which someone was confused about how to quick reply.

Actaully, it's really easy to be onist.

Within this hour (22.47) I've gone up 600 points, and thats with pissing about in the lobbys etc. It works wondering if you've got afew people, say 5, it's quite easy to find a game eventually, even if you only get 1 in 3 games actaully going, you get around 800 points if your at a decent speed easily. It's litterrally let the guy pick up the flag, run 2 weeks drop it, you get 2 points, over and over. Really simple and saves alot of boredom and anger of waiting in them lobby's with the retarded music playing over and over.

I don't even play COD much these days, i've yet to find a ranked match online to join and nobody shows up when I wait forever, but I'm dying to know. If anybody feels like spilling the beans please drop me a PM. Drives me nuts I haven't been able to find info on this on the net.

I did forever :D. I actually had to sell my 360 to get money for some bills. I hope to be able to get another one at the beginning of next month. My wife and I always played it together.

There is another thread in this forum about it that was recently created. It's bullshit if you ask me. Anybody who participates in bridging might as well use a gavesave for the full 1000. Bridging = Teh Lame

Agreed. Bridging is just as dirty as gamesaving, and is not condoned in any way shape or form here.

Im gonna have to disagree with you there.. Even though ive never bridged, from what i can see it just looks like a form of boosting, but with a select few people (which is what you do when you boost anyway?)

Game saves require no skill or time, where as from what i can see bridging still requires time, like most boosting..

Bridging can be used for the purposes of good and fluffy bunnies if and when it's used purely to stop modders playing with you.

Unfortunately, nine times out of ten it's exactly the opposite, and isn't really like boosting at all mate. Check this page for further info (http://gamesfirst.com/?id=1342) and you'll see what I mean.

This thread will be closed due to it evolving into a bridgefest. Feel free to create a new thread to discuss the morals surrounding this often abused "feature".
