I heard around Q2 spring 2010.. could be wrong.. I read it said May somewhere, but who knows for sure? If you have ODST then you're in on the beta (like it says on the box!)

Bungie has said many, many times that it'll be sometime in 2010, that's all we know.

When the beta comes out, just play your H3: ODST disc.

Actually yes it has. A release date hasn't been announced, but a beta has been confirmed.

Release date is unknown, obviously before Fall 2009, and if they want to take full advantage of the beta, it would be released late spring, early summer. I'll predict it'll be released the same time the Halo 3 beta was released.

The only requirement you need is to have purchased a new copy of Halo: ODST. The beta will be accessible in the extra's menu, which is currently hidden on the screen.

- He meant to say that the release date wasn't confirmed.
- It comes out in Fall 2010, not 2009.
- You don't need to buy a new copy, the one you bought on September 22nd will work, in fact, you could rent the game and it would still work.
- It's not hidden on the screen, you can see it's the very last option at the home page. It gets updated every now and again for news/information.

Hopefully his post didn't confuse anyone too much ;).

Like every other halo game no doubt. They need to mix it up a bit more, the series is starting to grow stale

The trailer looks kinda cool, but right now Reach is kinda meh to me. Ive gotten bored of the Halo series.

Stale? Why is it the most popular xbox and xbox 360 game then??

The beta is on Spring 2010 and you need Halo 3: ODST to play it while the finished/finalized game is being released on Fall 2010.
