I'm think of buying of buying a 120GB hard drive (MicroSoft's one), this one - Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive Expansion Pack (Xbox 360): Amazon.co.uk: PC & Video Games=
Does this come with a transfer kit, if so does anyone have a link for an xbox 360 transfer kit?

Best thing to do is look one up on ebay. That's how I got mine.

Yeah, they do charge for them now. You need a credit card to buy from them so if you don't have one I would go the ebay route. Plus you can get them a bit cheaper on ebay. MS use to charge $25, don't know if that is the same anymore or not.

If you get an Elite they'll still send you one for free.

traded some stuff at CEX and got the 120gb hard drive for 6, as opposed to 45 :woop:installing pure at the moment.

Yeah, you need 2 xbox 360 serial codes, one from a Pro and one from a Elite.

When I bought my MW2 Special Edition Console I was going crazy trying to find a transfer kit. Then I called MS and they told me to just transfer my gamertag onto my new XBox. I was very scared I would lose everything, but I went ahead and did it and lost nothing.

My xbox just died :( RROD :/ And it's out of warranty, does anyone know how much it will cost to fix it or should I just go out and buy an Elite?

Your Xbox is not out of warranty. The warranty ends in 2011 or something like that. Remember the 3-year extended warranty because of the RROD complaints?

Send in your Xbox if you want to, but if you get the Elite, you get a brand new Xbox with a Jasper chip. Who doesn't like new? Plus you get two free games for your achievement-whoring pleasure.

I want a 120GB HDD but when I saw the price I just laughed, 85 in gamestation! I'm just gonna get an Elite with a few games for 200 then flog the games for maybe 50.
I want another 360 anyway as this is over 2 yrs old so it's likely it won't last the year anyway. As for transferring I'm not sure but it can't be too difficult/pricey surely?!
