The description says it is new and the seller is a top ebay seller, i just want to know if anyone can tell by looking or give me any info on what to look when it turns up if i ordered it to check.

There is a returns policy, so if i chance it and it isn't genuine, i can send it back. as long as i know what i am looking for.

Well to be honest if he is officially a top rated seller i doubt its a fake. He also put that "The drive actually shows 107 gig of free space available as some space is required for installation. This is true for all microsoft hard drive" which it is since i have on. Little details like this is what i use to check purchases. If there are any problems return it, which doubt there will be.

That is true, I have a Elite and the hard drive is 107GB.

He's a top seller, and it all seems to add up.

I'd say it's safe if you are going to buy from him.

Just make sure the hdd comes with the transfer cable and transfer disc, otherwise you'll be screwed if you plan to transfer your stuff over.

Unless he has a memory unit, thats how i did it. May be tedious but if you only want a small portion of your saved games its handy.

that is one hundred percent genuine. to have good goods, i say the buyer has to be at least 95% positive and he is a top seller so go for it
