Im trying to watch videos off my computer on my 360. I have Windows XP and WMP 11, and I cant get this SHIT to work!!! PLZZZZ help me. I have done everything i could think off. When i go to media sharing on the media player it does not list my xbox as a device, my 360 is turned on. I used to have it set up and working (my brother did it for me the first time, hes not around to help this time) but i had to re-boot my entire PC so i lost all the set-ups i had and now i cant figuer out how to get it to work. PLZ for the love of god help me!!

If its not regestering your console on Media Player, try turning off the PC and the modem/router. That shoud 'refresh' the cables in the router, then turn your PC back on and check... If not there is a guide somewhere on Inside Xbox on the dashboard.

Bring up Windows Media Player, under Library click the drop down menu, Click Media sharing..., Make sure your xbox icon is ticked with a green tick, allow it, hope this helps ;)

We checked this already and it's not working, the xbox appears (both our xboxs appear) but only mine gets listed, I run vista and he's running windows xp. I know the problem is his pc, because he doesn't have a problem streaming from my PC (which is wireless) but his PC never lists.

Well, When I want to watch downloaded videos from the internet I use VUZE (bit torrent), It allows you to drag and drop them into the Ps3/xbox360 section and if you wish to view them in SD(standern detail) or HD. I used this programme to watch all of HOUSE which i downloaded from the web :)

But if the xbox isn't even recognizing the computer, wont that kill all that.
