Hey im a bit clueless about all this new game engine stuff because when i watched the reach trailer it didnt seem different to the other halos (exept characters, vehicles ect) and i was hoping someone would explain it to me it would be greatly appreciated if someone did explain it :D

'Imposter' system that allows rendering of far more objects at further distances without having an impact on the running of the game.

The ability to have about 40 individual AI in one area at a time, allowing larger battles.

Individual lighting for particles, ie. each shot from plasma weapons have their own shadow.

they also can use more polygons... that means more details and more variety in weapons, characters, vehicles, etc....
