Well, I just bought it NEW for 37 on amazon.de as a special offer. That's the game with the red special board or whatever it's called xD

For that price, it's ok ;p

It has massively dropped now, which is about time because when it was first released, it wasn't worth the money.
But paying 29.99 at HMV instead of 79.99 or more, then thats a bargain!

I managed to pick it up for exactly $11.73 (WITH board) at Best buy after price matching it from HMV's $19.99 and a $5 coupon... havent tried it yet, but i think ANY game is worth $11, lol.

Wow, that price dropped to insanely low levels. It's not possible to play without the board, right?

I paid $10 to get this at Kmart, since the roadmap rated this a 3/10 or 4/10 with a 6-7 hour completion time. I believe those numbers are based on someone who already knows how to skateboard. If you know nothing about skateboarding, you should consider this at the minimum an 8/10 or 9/10 based on controls alone.

This game isn't worth getting for free. In fact in hindsight, I wouldn't take this game if someone paid me to take it.

This was designed for people that ride skateboards in mind and not really everyone else. My balance is usually pretty good, but this is so sensitive to the slightest movements that unless you already know your way around a board it will be one of the biggest lessons in frustration you will ever experience.

I tried doing this legit until I realized that the board wasn't recognizing the commands as they were shown to me in the tutorial. Using my hands to control the board instead isn't much better as the sensors will pick up anything near them as if you were standing on them (i.e. your legs, a chair, the couch, etc.).

The fact that you cannot use a regular controller at all should spell it out for you - Activision is using the game to sell you an accessory and not using the accessory to sell the game.

I used to love playing all the Tony Hawk games on PS1 and Dreamcaast, but this has pretty much turned me off to it. Unless you ride in real life, AVOID THIS GAME LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!! :uzi:
