So I'm in golden bullets mode, and going for 50,000 style points. Is it safe to upgrade your health to full? Or would I ruin the chance to get 50,000? Sure this mode is easy, but I've encountered some cheap deaths thanks to low health. Thanks in advance.

I'm not quite sure, I made enough to get the health upgrade after first chapter now i'm up to chapter 7 and have 10,000. Don't think i will make it..

I can confirm that you have to have 50,000 total without spending anything otherwise it will not unlock the cheevo....... after it does then you can upgrade what you like also it takes 66,000 points to get hey big spender cheevo...

hope that helped ya...

I upgraded my health to full straight away and i ended the game with about 60,000 style points. So yes i would advise doing it. Also, take a look at this thread
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=232923

But remember to look around for the pick-ups that give you style points.

Just wanted to clarify, wizardfire is correct in saying that you have to have 50,000 points without spending them.

However, you can earn way more than 50,000 points during a playthrough. That means that you CAN purchase upgrades and still unlock the achievement. You just have to have a balance of over 50,000. Any points you spend on upgrades obviously won't count towards this.

For example, if I spend 6,000 points on life upgrades I'll need to earn a total of 56,000 points to unlock the achievement, as that would give me a current balance of 50,000.

As I mentioned, this achievement is totally within reach. I completed a Golden Bullets run where my total points earned was over 98,000. At the start I upgraded life to full and bought rebound ASAP, and that's all I used until after I unlocked "Hey Big Spender".

BTW, play on Golden Bullets and buy Rebound. Then do this:

1. Jump towards a wall
2. Rebound off the wall
3. Slide

Once you're in the slide, start shooting. At 5x multiplier, body kills give 150 points, and headshot kills give 175. I unlocked "Hey Big Spender" by chapter 8.

Also, the same thing works without rebound if you do a wall-run/jump/slide combo. Rebound just makes it easier (IMHO).

actually it did. You want to get the 50,000 point achiev. He says u need to get 66,000 for another achiev. So knowing that hes saying you have 16,000points to spend on what you want without having to worry about the 50k one.

So it is really adviced to just take the Life upgrades first, then get to 50k?

And also, u really shouldnt do this on easy right? Not sure tho, seems so much easier to do it on easy? Havent done the Golden Bullet mode tho!
