If they really wanted to go retro they would have the put Pong on there but they fail. Leave it to Microsoft to not put the obvious on there. Then the go charging for each individual game even though most of them suck. They should have just done a pack of like 5 games for 400 msp or something like that.

From the looks of the launch titles, I wonder if we are really going to see some of the games from your guys' list? Meaning, most of these games are 25-30 years old, don't know if we will be seeing Time Crisis or House of the Dead or even Killer Instinct.

Berserk! Gotta have it to re-create my arcade youth.

Here's hoping the Midway games can come back soon.

And best of all, games purchased in XBLA playable in the Game Room with their original cabinets. Hell, just turn the Game Room into the hub for all XBLA games. You can customize a Rare room, XBLA originals room, an a walk-in avatar closet.

Ha, I remember I when I was a kid my grandma had an atari and had pitfall, frogger, and q-bert.

I found something cool that the atari joystick is compatible with the Genesis. I didn't test it out the other way, but I think it should work.

From the list provided by heinstach these alone I would love to see and most certainly get if released. I'm not sure if the ones made by Nintendo would make their way to Microsoft, but who knows. I definitely rememeber putting quarters in the machines to play all these games at 1 point in time.

-Put the original Simpsons arcade game in there (the one similar to the TMNT one)!

-Ken Griffey Jr's Slugfest Arcade!
-Gauntlet II!

I understand this is just a wishlist, but are people really expecting any Nintendo game to be on Game Room? They have the Wii's Virtual Console to span the entire console history as well as arcade support already. Why in the world would they give consumers a reason to NOT buy a Wii?

Isn't there an arcade cabinet with all these games on it? It has like 100 games ranging from 1942 to bubble bobble to final fight to street fighter? I'd buy that first before spending all that money on downloads..

Moon patrol, simpsons/xmen from konami and tetris I would buy..

A few years ago, Target had a smaller game version called Big Games Arcade but that one only had Midway games on it I think. I saw a 100+ game at a con going for around $3500 but didn't get the name for that one.

And while I'm at it: Give me the Bemani cabinets
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs

As for the 80's:
Battlezone
Computer Space (okay, that's 70's)
Time Gal
Dragon's Lair
Lunar Rescue

I was big into the Intellivision back in the day. I recall several Activision games that were fantastic!

-Beamrider
-Happy Trails

Those would be instant purchases for me.

For Arcade:

-Moon Patrol
-Food Fight
-Dragon's Lair
-Gorf
-Star Castle
-Qbert
-Spy Hunter
-Elevator Action
-Toobin'

Are all musts!

I would love to see more Atari 2600 games, and not the common stuff, the rarities. Crazy stuff like Air Raid, Malagai, Gauntlet, and Quadrun. Or unreleased prototypes like Lord of the Rings, Dukes of Hazzard, The Ewok Adventure and the Pink Panther. Other games that aren't as rare but alot of fun like Jawbreaker, Kaboom, Pitfall 2 and Phoenix would be cool too...

Reading some of these suggestions

The xmen/simpsons game were easily the most fantastic beat em ups to play with friends. But to see it in the game room? No way. Size it up for xbla for some multiplayer and achievements- it's the only freaking way to play them. That goes for all the arcade classics.

"NOTHING MOVES THE BLOB!!!"

Ah, good times.

90's games might be essential to a library, but all of them require multi so I don't see them coming to the room anytime soon. Someone already mentioned AvP (you can throw Aliens in there, same difference) and Robocop, Smash TV, Gauntlet, Spy Hunter, Rampage- great games but I doubt we'll see em.

Going further back, that Star Wars arcade was awesome, though I see the sheer rip off it was from the Baron game in the game room now.

Lists look great.

Snow Bros.
Bubble Bobble
Dig Dug
Atari Pinball
Pole Position

E.T.? Who in their right mind...
The game was broken and I played the hell out of it for hours. I had to fall into a lake and pick up a reece's piece then avoid the man in the suit...
WTF! I wouldn't even demo that thing if it made the cabinet list.

I'm drawing a blank but there was game that was basically like Pac-Man but with a clown throwing a beach ball or something. eh?

P.O.W. (Anyone remember that one?)
Popeye
Rush n' Attack
Pitfall

Why are people suggesting Nintendo games like mario, games that are never coming to the 360. Not to mention some suggestions aren't even arcade games.

Simple answer. Nintendo owns Zelda. Nintendo owns Mario. Nintendo...kinda owns Donkey Kong 64. The only game Nintendoish I think we might see on XBLA is DK64. Rare helped develop it. This is why we haven't seen any Zelda games or Mario Games on XBLA thus far. It's Nintendo's product. Why would they want to give Microsoft it?

These will never happen:

Any nintendo game (such as donkey kong or mario)
Anything tied to a licence (such as the ninja turtles arcade game)

These will probably never happen:
Anything actual 3D (not including vector 3d like red baron)

Here's a bunch of likely candidates:
