please forgive me if this has been asked b4, but, what makes a dog tag unique, other than the color? I'm just curious is all. Thanks

I'm not sure if I am answering this right but each Dog Tag is basically the Gamtertag of the person you knifed. In other words anybody you have knifed in the game you can go and view their profile and what not. The people you have knifed the most are at the top and so on (would be nice to sort by most recent tho).

Dog tags are unique by name... so collecting X unique dog tags means you need to knife X different people, not the same person multiple times. Color corresponds rank, 1-21 are bronze, 22-? are silver, I'm not sure where the gold tags start showing up.

You also gain additional exp for the rank of the person you knife, but it's not shown. Say you knife someone who is rank 25, it will give you 50 +25 exp.

Although it only appears as +50 on screen, check scoreboard and it should add the additional exp there.

One other thing about the dog tags, at least in my case, they counted toward the achievement Award Addicted. The one where you have to collect 50 unique awards.

Well, it's basically a dog tag with a name, plus they come in 3 shades of metal...also they don't give you any exp. in BFBC2...

What determines the color of the tag? I have all copper/bronze ones except for one that is silver, as mentioned above, but I don't know what makes it different?
