Introduction:
Zeno Clash is a 3D fighting game or brawler, with some elements of a fire-person shooter video game. It is the debut game of developer ACE Team and uses Valve Corporation's Source engine.

Breakdown:
Zeno Clash is a fun game and the achievements are easy to obtain for the most part, starting the game I recommend playing the first couple of levels of the main story so you can learn the controls, surprisingly very few achievements are tied to the main game. Once you feel comfortable with the combat system exit the game and start a new game of Tower Challenge. Their are a total of 8 challenges.

5 of the challenges take place in a tower, the objective is the same in each level, simply defeat all enemies present and ascend to the next level of the tower, a portion of your health will be replenished as you move through each section of the tower. A timer is present but is not a determination of getting the achievement, take your time, particularly on levels 4 and 5.

3 of the challenges take place in the "Pit". It took me a moment to notice, but these are still selected from the Tower Challenge menu, just keep scrolling over. The big difference is that your dropping down ledges and health may be difficult to find, it comes in the form of fruit. If you reach a point that you cant find the next platform to jump down too, remember to use your bombs to remove a portion of the floor so you can find alternate routes to reach platforms you may not be able to see otherwise.

I found the Pit challenges to be easier than the tower, but all of them should be easy to complete. Enemies move in predictable patterns, dodging the charging pigs and the like is simply a matter of sidestepping out of the way, or leading the enemy into a pillar, this will stun them and give you a chance to deal damage with a heavy weapon.

Main Game:

After you have completed the challenges, you just need to clean up the remainder of your achievements in the main story mode, You should have 3 or 4 achievements to get at this point, refer to the specific achievement description for details on obtaining the missable achievements (Flame Master, Easter Egg, Body Launcher and Almost Number One)

Closing Comments:

Zeno Clash is a fun game and for achievement hunters it can easily be completed in a day, if your still struggling in the tower challenges play through story mode first, the strategies to beat all the enemies in story mode are the same tactics you will use in the tower, just on a larger scale with more enemy interference. I hope my guide has been helpful for you.

Possible to miss, but can be completed during the Tower Challenges, you dont have to actually throw the enemy, I found that a finishing move hit on a dazed enemy that comes in contact with another enemy counts as progression towards achievement, more than likely you will get this in course of game or Tower Challenges, but it is possible to miss.

EDIT: I've been told that this achievement can be missed if your too slow beating down "the Hunter", this is the second time you face him and its back at camp, you wont have a ranged weapon, I used that move where you move back and hold down the left trigger then walk towards him, this will charge a punch that will break through his block and send him flying, you can then kick him while he is on the ground, keep this strategy going and keep your distance so he doesnt perform his finisher before you get him to 1 health point(he cant be killed, so just keep fighting till the achievement pops)

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1226/+1f67g==.jpgEaster Egg 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpgFind the secret easter egg.
Shortly into the main game you will find yourself locked in a cage, the egg which literally looks like a painted easter egg is located to the right of the guy who is hanging off of the cage and in to corner under the tree, you can actually grab it from inside the cage refer to pics if you need any other help

About the middle of the game you will enter a swamp area thats dark, you will be equipped and given instructions on how to use the torch, it tells you that if you swing the torch at incoming projectiles you will capture them in the torch. The "sludge monsters" in this area all throw blue fireballs, keep your distance and let them live, as long as you dont get too close they will continue to throw fireballs, they can come at different speeds so be on alert, but overall its a very quick 10 gamer score

I was debating on getting this since it uses the Source engine and all but does this game have Multiplayer or is it strictly single player? Plus the 2GB is huge for an Arcade game. :o

Looking forward to seeing the fully detailed achievement guide. :)

I beleive that their is some multiplayer co-op element, but I haven't explored that yet, the good news is that the achievement guide is now completed, I recommend getting the game, if you want a quick 200 points its good, and if you want a good game you will be happy as well.

... I concede the achievement guide to this other guy, I was just wasteing time I guess, it seemed like I waited till 1-2pm eastern time before making this thread and no one had stepped up to make a guide at that point, but 7 hours later this guide ive made is obsolete, ive directed a mod to this thread and it can be deleted at his discretion.

It's not a waste of time, I was making a guide too (taking notes, etc). Feel free to copy the tiles and keep working on yours. I really didn't mean to highjack the thread or anything, but I am Pacfic Time and I too waited and no one had posted one when I started! Maybe you could help me work on some of the tips/tricks or something, if you are giving up. Keep your guide up man, people still read it. I've posted guides when others have already even been published and stickied, and just a few people saying "thanks for the help!" makes it all worth it. I even wrote a guide for Mass Effect 2 which took around 5 hours for me to write, and it got lost in the threads and not even looked at by the mods. Trust me, people will be checking out both guides if either me or you hadn't worded or covered something right.

fair enough, glad to see your response was so mature, mine was less than reasonable, the community deserves the best quality they can get, ill leave what I have up, but I was impressed by what you had up, you listed the enemy types in each level of the towers, had videos of the missable achievements, it truly is solid work. This is just me starting and I am missing alot, One day I want to be able to make guides like you do. I should get a video capture device soon cause I love guides like yours where their are quick videos for achievements, its so helpful. thanks for the encouragement man, if I get a capture card soon I might record some of the more challenging stages of the tower challenges as a guide on clearing them, then post them on your thread, that way we can work together to create the best guide possible.

Sounds good! I too am getting a capture device later this month. My videos are in good effort but don't look so great since recorded with a digital camera. If you plan on doing a guide for another game let me know and I'd love to help you out with it. The best route to go when making a guide is to plan on making one ahead before you play. So if you find another game that needs a guide let me know and I'll pitch in what I can to help out. :) Thank you for your kind words in your message by the way.

thank for the guide, just got my 200/200 in the game.Man, pitt 3 was a bit of a pain, but finally beat it! :uzi:.

I had the most trouble in Tower 4 and 5, I think it was 4 that had the part with the 3 charging animals at the same time, they ripped me up pretty bad but eventually they started colliding with eachother and stunning themselves.

and 5 had that part with one charging pig and Father-Mother, I played the challenges first and didnt know shooting father-mother in the legs made him drop to the ground, but the fish guns did most of the work and luckily that stage had pillars to duck behind.

Pit 3 took me a few trys too, my problem was knocking enemies off ledges and having them fall down to lower levels and adding to the number I would have to fight on other ledges, even after that their was one part where it always felt like their were 4 of the enemies at once near the bottom. the black boss at the end wasnt too bad, just had alot of hp, glad I could be of help, gratz on the 200 GS.

I loved this game on pc when steam had it on sale. I really enjoyed the combat style of melee/brawling in first person view.

if you do the pit and towers co-op this can be done in 3-4 hours easy
