For those of you who don't know, this is the unique laser rifle that was cut from Broken Steel.

Basically when you shoot something, it has a high chance of creating a vapor cloud and a moment later another laser comes out of nowhere and ignites it. I feel like Roy Mustang from FMA!!! The explosion also has a very high chance of knocking the target down.

There's a drawback to this thing and it's probably why they didn't put it in the game. Sometimes when you shoot it, a bunch of vapor clouds will form in the same spot and when they're ignited your framerate grinds to a halt for a few seconds. In some cases it will even freeze your game. The good thing about it is that since there are so many explosions going off at once, it will kill almost anything that stands around it.

On my god-character, this thing does 87 damage by itself plus the explosion damage and the fire damage. The only way you can get it is through a transfer kit, along with other cut weapons and armors like the grenade launcher, discharge hammer, and the army jumpsuit.

You need:

-A transfer kit from Datel
-Xport program from Datel's site
-A hash/resigner program ( Hash Block Calculator is a good one )
-FO3edit program

There's two types of transfer kits; one for hard drives and one for memory units. The one for memory units are cheaper and cost around $15.

Basically you take your game save and put it on your comp through Xport. Then you use FO3edit to fswap the ID number. You can get any item in the game this way. Then you use the hash/resigner program to certify it so the game can read it. I you don't run it through the program then the game thinks it's a corrupt save.

If it's true, it'll be on fallout.wikia.com. I can't seem to find it, care to enlighten?

Article on Fallaut wiki about Lightning Gun

About save modding, also take from Fallout Wiki
Can I mod Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360?

Yes, it is possible, but the only way to be able to use User Created Content is either by owning a Development Kit or a Jtag'd 360

For other Fallout 3 modifications on the Xbox 360 do need to own either a USB flash drive or any other means of transfering data between your Xbox 360 and Computer

If you do not own either a Jtag or a Dev Kit then modding Fallout 3 is limited to:

Cross-Platform Save Conversion
Item Condition
ID Swapping

and various others.
but with these modifications you will need some way of transfering files from your 360 HDD to your PC and vice-versa (After the recent update, you can just use a USB)

The Lightning Gun on the wiki is right HERE. (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Lightning_Gun)

You can get PC mods to work on the 360 version, but you need a modded 360 to do that.

Dear lord that sounds sweet.

Was there any information about what spec machines had the lag problems?
