If Styx doesn't make the setlist (now that we know about the keyboard), I'll be very VERY surprised. That's all I can say really.

I want to play Muse, Biffy Clyro and Bloc Party. Although if the instruments really are going to teach you real instruments, it'll take me years to master guitar on expert.

Trogdor would be amazing. They have done South Park before so I guess there is no reason they couldn't do Strongbad.

I'd love to see some Come Sail Away in the setlist...but I'd settle for Mr. Roboto ;)

I agree with Bloc Party; they're a fantastic band that doesn't seem to be on the radar when it comes to RB...not sure why though, it's amazing music.

I'm hoping for some more AFI from their Crash Love album, and I definitely wouldn't be opposed to some more Coheed & Cambria.

with the keyboard added I just wonder if all the song will include the keyboard? since to me it's hard to think of a band that I listen to that as one :S but either way. I would love to see some mudvayne , in flames, protest the hero, maybe some billy talent would be fun

I'm sure most songs will have a keyboard part, but certainly not all; I'm reminded of the various DLC songs that don't have parts for certain instruments. However, I have a feeling all the songs that come on the RB3 disc will have parts for every instrument...DLC will be a different story.

One song not mentioned I'd really like to play is Fire On High (or Evil Woman, I guess) by ELO. It would be great for all instruments besides vocals, unless you can somehow sing the backwards part in the beginning.

Then again, the first minute or two might be boring since there's not really anything playing besides funky effects.

I'd like to see some cool songs with piano. I feel like the cure use keyboards and would love some more cure songs. However I think that the most important thing is that it's songs you like as I can play songs that have bland note charts over and over again if I like them as songs.

Actually, I change my mind.

Harmonix should have ZERO Styx in Rock Band 3...and should release the Greatest Hits album in its entirety as DLC within a month after release :Bounce:

For some reason I don't see it happening; I'm not exactly sure why, since it's almost always the best songs (hence Greatist Hits ;)).

Well, they released No Doubt's "The Singles" album, and that wasn't really an album so much as a compilation of their old music

More Red Hot Chili Peppers. We only have Blood Sugar Sex Magik and a couple of songs (not the best ones either) from Stadium Arcadium, two totally different parts of the band's career. We're missing all of By the Way and Californication, not to mention their early stuff.

But, with rumours of a Guitar Hero: RHCP, don't know if it'll happen. Although, I'd much rather have Harmonix make a RHCP game. Hell, they deserve it more than Green Day.

Pink Floyd too.

I don't know if they "deserve" it more than Green Day, but other than that, this exactly. The Chili Peppers are my favorite band. Like, of all time. And even though I haven't purchased a Guitar Hero game since World Tour (and that wasn't even with my money), you'd better believe I'm buying a Chili Pepper game no matter who's making it.

That would, in fact, be pretty awesome, but I doubt they'd but something on disc that doesn't have any vocals on it. Maybe DLC.

Burnin' Down the House-Talking Heads

This is actually, in fact, in the game. Pre-orders get a pack of 3 songs to download, and this is one of them.

Agreed.

I could go for some proper Duran Duran and Pet Shop Boys. In fact, "What have I done to deserve this" is on the radio right now.

Anything by ABC or Oingo Boingo. Some more Squeeze and Elvis Costello.

Dear God by XTC.
Happy Hour by the Housemartins.
Don't stop me now by Queen
Never gonna give you up by Rick Astley (Has nothing to do with the internet meme.
I genuinely like the song.)
Fit but you know it by The Streets
The Cave by Mumford and Sons

You might think by The Cars is a perfect song for this game. Also, You're so Vain by Carly Simon.

But most of all, I want some proper Barenaked Ladies tracks.

With all these UK groups and 80s songs, you'd think I was a 40 something Brit. Lol
