The performance Vs Roma was last night was awesome! Thats coming from a Newcastle fan, Carrick, Smith, Ronaldo and Fletcher were all class on the night. Possibly the best performance ive seen from an English team in Europe!

......not including Newcastle's 3-2 win over Barcelona!

Yeah, they completly destroyed Roma last night.

Never seena team so deflated. They knew it was over when the second one went in, and basically just sat back and watched United put on an unstoppable show.

Sent a real message about their intentions of the triple.

IF United play like that for the rest of the season, then the treble could be on the cards.
No matter how anyone wants to belittle the phenomenal performance of last night (looking at you Webb :p ) this was Roma not some crappy part-time Swedish outfit - and they got utterly destroyed!
I'm hoping Rooney gets some confidence from this and goes on a scoring spree for club and country...

Chelsea were more than lucky. They deserved to go out. And over 2 lrgs, I reckon Liverpool will beat them (assunimg they come through)

And Graeme's right on Man Utd. They would have beaten any team in the world last night, without a doubt. And Graeme should know- lives closer than most Man Utd fans :p

Man Utd were utterly amazing but should of really scored more!!! As for chelsea they beat the better team because of a very good second half performance, where Valencia just shut down and protected what they had!

If Man Utd play that well for the rest of the season no one will beat them, but i think it was just coming back from a 2-1 loss to Portsmouth that spurred them on to give Roma a thrashing! Chelsea never make their Champions League easy and this one will be no exeption... i think we will beat liverpool but only because they beat us 2-0 in the league and its our turn to win!!!:D

ps. What a goal from DeRossi!!!

Yeh and me and 10 of my m8s coined the goal keeper the hole game, we also beat Preston 3-0 our best result of the season the game after, oh yeh and their goal was conceded when Paul Ifills boot was ripped totally in half giving away the goal.

Well done, your such a great fan.
If Id have seen you chucking coins at a keeper or any player I would beat you black and blue. Especially as Luke is a mate.

Scumbags that do this kind of thing should be banned from all football games, and im half way to implementing that rule on this site now.

I have never thrown a coin at anyone on this site, i am sorry minty but it wasn't so much at him...as near him to put him off considering what they do to our lot away. Oh and as for the black and blue beating first off just no, and second as the maturer mind would you not consider that stooping to my level.

You mess with a mate, and you mess with me as far as im concerned.

And if your attacking a mate, its not stooping to your level to stop it. Especially as throwing coins at players is a form of hooliganism.

No need whatsover - It's not like McCormick NEEDS putting off - he's got enough to worry about with Plymouth's back 4 :p
On a serious note, last time I saw a fan at Old Trafford do that, he was calmly escorted from the stand and then I laughed as I saw the stewards get some cheeky digs in on the t**t as he was led away. Deserved. Would you like people rolling up where you work and have them throw dangerous shit at you?
Submitting your name for Fear Factor... cant think of a worse punishment:(

@Minty, If Luke's a mate, can you get me an autograph for the nephew? ;)
