SanDisk Cruzer Micro 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive SDCZ6-016G-A11

I have an 8gb data traveler and it works awesome, just need to plug it into your xbox first and configure the drive for how much 360 space you want on it.

I am glad that they made this update. About time they did something like this.

I bought a 1TB hard drive & after struggling to format the damn thing so it could configure with the 360 required settings which is 16GB I think? anyways after bypassing all that shit I can honestly say it was worth every penny (60) & I never have to worry about losing space again :)

16GB the limit for 360 portable drive, but you times that by 2 if you have another 16GB stick.

''Performance of non-Xbox 360 branded USB Flash Drives will vary based on quality, speed, and performance of the specific drive. Some may not provide a recommended level of performance. The system will recognize up to 16GB of available space on a connected device, even if the drive is larger in size.''

Yep.

The only one I have found that doesn't work so far is a 1GB flash drive that the US Army Recruiters hand out.

The 360 tries to format it then says its not fast enough and can only store like 400MB or so.

Come risk your life; we'll give you a 1GB USB drive for your troubles! I mean, really? Only a 1GB? Come now, I know America's in a buttload of debt, but how about offering real incentive instead of worthless rubbish that you can pick up for a buck or two just about anywhere? Sheesh.

I couldn't agree more with that statement. Give us a year of Xbox Live Gold and then I'll be set =D Or 4000 MSPoint cards.

My brother was a recruiter previously and he gave it to me cause they had a bunch of them. They also have a ton of even cheaper flash drives they give out that that range from 256-512MB.

go to youtube first and search for what the best jumpdrive is to use with the 360. They did tests on it, and saved the same game on each different stick, and load times were dramatically different on each. some were quicker and alot slower than using your standard dvd.
