View Full Version : Just one more time... (bands you will miss)

I'm here at work listening to Type O-Negative. I can't help but wish to myself that I could see them in concert just one more time. I saw them live in 2003 with Lacuna Coil at a little place in Pittsburgh's Strip District.

Likewise with Slipknot (say what you will, I like them). Saw them at Ozzfest '06. Also would like to have seen Alice in Chains with Layne Staley and Metallica with Cliff Burton.

What I wouldn't give to see and hear these bands just one more time live.

At the Altar Bar?

Anyway, I'm sad I'll never get to see I Killed the Prom Queen. They need to do a worldwide reunion tour.

The one that sprang to mind immediately for me - now they've split up - is Audioslave...I'm sure there'll be others though

PanterA and Black Sabbath

Nirvana. That's the big one for me.

Some other ones:
Yellowcard (technically it's a hiatus, but it's been a while)
Love is Red
Fall of Troy
Jack Left Town
Led Zeppelin
Be Your Own Pet
As Cities Burn
The Number Twelve Looks Like You

And I'm sure there's more I can't think of right now.

I never saw them, but i would have like to have seen Joy Division for their brief period of activity. Also hanging out with Chopin would have been pretty wicked, but he is not a band. Actually it probably would have meant living in the early 1800's, when shit like lame food and early death was all the rage, so perhaps not.

Dio is the number one artist I miss. I have been lucky enough to see him live about 5 times, but I still miss him and wish I could have seen him perform one more time.
I also miss Type O Negative, Acid Bath, Kyuss, and Dissection. But on a good note- two bands I've been missing for years now have announced reunion tours- Stabbing Westward and Sleep.:woop:

I'd love to see Slipknot again... really would. only saw them for the 1st time last year headling Download Festival. Incredible weekend.

and Limp Bizkit, i know they've not broken up, and are playing at Reading / Leeds this year but i unfortunatly couldnt get tickets for them, again saw them play Download Festival last year and they were great, the whole crowd was just mental.

im sure they'll play / tour arenas again, just a bit gutted not seeing them this year.

oh and i really really really wanna see System of a down again. saw them in 2002... and not seen them since.
