View Full Version : Hostel Goes to Vegas

A third Hostel film is in the works, and it's looking as if shooting could begin as early as August. According to Bloody Disgusting (http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/20759), Sony Stage 6, the company responsible for the direct-to-DVD 30 Days of Night: Dark Days (http://uk.movies.ign.com/objects/143/14343638.html) is gearing up to take on Hostel. Given the poor box office return for Hostel: Part II (http://uk.movies.ign.com/objects/793/793804.html), its looking as if this installment of the franchise could be headed to a straight-to-video release as well.

Eli Roth (http://uk.stars.ign.com/objects/917/917343.html) is returning to produce, but Scott Spiegel (From Dusk Till Dawn 2) will be taking over the directing duties on a script from Michael Weiss.

The creators are looking to reinvigorate the series by ditching the drab eastern European hostels and bringing the body mutilation terror to Las Vegas. I'd like to see how CSI guys deal with that.
