Ok so I got my xbox early last fall and I've played the damn thing so much my power supply went out. I am using a spare my step son had at his house at the moment since a used one from gamestop was like 40 dollars. But is this an "Accessory" and is it covered under my warranty if I send it in?

I know I should ask MS this but I need to pad my post count here so it stops saying peon.

Seems like the xbox shoulda rroded before the power supply went out. I install everything to my HD and I am sure that helps. I also unplug it often tho so my little son can't fish my games out and hide them. Could that contribute to it failing?

Cheers.

I doubt unplugging it made it die, it was probly just proorly made. I would think it should be covered since it is essential to the system(and came with the system). Accessories are just extra things that aren't really needed, like spare controls/driving wheels/plastic instruments.

Also +1 post count.
