Hi eveyone i have been surfing the great pages of xbox360Achievement.org doing what i have been doing most weekends for the past few years looking up achievements and souluitions etc etc.. but this weekend there was something different ... was making me think am i on the right site cus there are these young pretty sexy girls looking at me saying err.. well nothing in fact that would be my imagination getting the better of me i am a man after all.

But i do think this ad put there by "google ads" gave me that thought and it is a dating site after all, nothing wrong with that of course its the images that it has used these ones below take a look and tell me that these images dont say SEX if not then i am just a pervert and way off the mark i dunno ?

I dont expect most have even noticed or care cus i know its like it eveywhere anyway !

Am i on my own on this what do you lot think, feel or care ?

Edit;ok sorry cant upload the pic to big am working on it anyway u cant miss its 4 sluts looking like they want some!

ah got a small version just click on the link

Over the years my brain has gained the ability to filter out almost all ads on the websites I visit, but I have to admit some of the more "sexy" ones do catch my eye from time to time ;).

Just for fun - post the ad above you right now. Mine is for a website called blackcareers.com lol

I never see the ads thanks to adblock. If you want to report it, make a post....in the Complaint forums, I think. Not exactly sure where it goes, actually. Maybe Feedback.

I also use adblock plus and only have ads show up here about 10% of the time. I don't try to block every ad I see as I understand the importance of the revenue they generate, but if the ad has sound or a rollover function, it's gotta go.

Yes i supose it is a complaint rather than the campain i stated so maybe i will just do that as i do have a moral issue with it!

also i think i will take a look at adblock that will save me having to scroll
up quickly so the wife dont flip out about young girls being there like that

Dickcream.com eh? Bruce Lee likey...

Oh wait a second...that's one of YTMND's affiliates (great name though). I am seeing this "Primbecb.com" one right now. Whenever I'm on GameFAQs I see the "Sad Obama" ad as I call it, since he's showing "stress" in a dark setting. EMO! (I kid, guy gets a lot of shit ya know? HE HAS a reason to be depressed, where as emos do not)

I noticed it and agree with you on the ad banner... it seemed a bit, er, inappropriate... not a prude or anything, but my first thought was that I would expect to see that add on a site very different to this one.

Oh man, that ad needs to die in a fire. The amount of times I've accidentally scrolled over it and had it consume the screen is innumerable.

Dammit you beat you me to it, that one is complete horsecrap. I shouldnt have to monitor my mouse path to ensure I dont move over the damn thing.

Unfortunately, because most of the time I spend on here is spent at uni I cant install adblock to get rid of them.

Can you get a screenshot of the ad and the URL it goes to and we'll get it removed.

We are already in the process of doing it for the IMVU ad.

Open up paint and paste it in :). It saves it to your clipboard.

Sabrelord

yes, you can always make a screen with "print" and just paste it into paint or something similiar. It's 1 screen at a time, somake sure u save it before taking another one.

Or try the tool "Fraps" if you want something advanced to make pix and vids from your screen.

The only times that I really notice ads are when they block my screen's vision by adding another window to a page that's just as large as my previous screen. Also videos that you accidentaly scroll over to play.

That Mother ad also makes noise and plays a video.

I hate those ads that play a song or something and you can't find where they are to turn it off.

Does ad block pro speed up browsing because it doesn't have to load up the ads or not? also is there a version for Opera?

The annoying thing about it was: it does it *everytime* you scroll over the ad bar; which means anytime you move the cursor from the top of the screen to the bottom without carefully circumnavigating the ad (so a lot) and then you cant click on anything else but the ad (as it takes up the whole screen) until you find the close button.

But I havent seen it in a while so hooray.

As they got better in technology, the need to create an entire window has kind of decreased (unless you look at porn and some other sites...), instead it's these new...non-windowed ads that appear as soon as you scroll over something...and ex'ing out of them? Doesn't fix the issue when it suddenly pops up again, because the X was so conviently placed ONTOP of the ad you are trying to avoid.

Yes, we get it...you need to advertise your useless shit...and you're not a virus-type of pop-up ad yet you're still annoying as all out hell. Especially the ones that make noises...videos, or jesus...the "HELOOOOOOOOOOOOO" smiley thing that sometimes shows up.
