I think you should get Alan Wake. I thought it was really fun, but unless you get the DLC you might not be playing as much as you would with Crackdown, since the game is pretty short.

Alan Wake takes about 10 hours to beat depending on difficulty setting or difficulty with the game itself. Crackdown 2 is even shorter but offers the multi player experience only to the limit of co-op.

Alan Wake is a psychological suspense thriller while Crackdown 2 is the same as Crackdown which was rather disappointing IMO being a player of both it just felt like playing the first one with a few more gadgets and a little less criminals, I admit running of thousands of freaks during the night is fun it gets repetitive very quickly.

Unlike Crackdown 2, Alan Wake has a solid story and can keep your attention, if your looking for easy ach. with the benefit of a great game you'll find it with the acception of collectibles. The DLC for Alan Wake is a good deal too with costing only 560mspoints with a future DLC on the way.

I have both you'll play either of them for about a week if you get that into them and then go back to your usual games, both good buys, I would buy Alan Wake simply because Crackdown 2 felt like playing the first one again.

Neither, both are rent-worthy due to being too short. But if you HAD to buy one - Alan Wake.

Ha yes this is a good option too, I just figured I'd give my incite on both games.

Alan Wake is a better game than Crackdown 2. Get which game you'd prefer.

Crackdown 2 have no history..., but it is really fun with a friend!

Alan Wake have a good story and you are much more into the game.
(several times I had goose bumps because of the great sounds)

I believe this is an easy choice... Alan Wake :)

Alan Wake is a good game for a week end. If you go for all the achievements it will take more time.

Alan Wake. Although if you want more out of a game and like Co-op, then go with Crackdown 2.

Alan Wake, simply as it is the better game.

and it aint short as people say it is, MW2 was short, erm 2.5 hours first run on VET! WTF!!!

Alan Wake cannot be rushed, if you do, you will die, if you take your time, you will love it!!!

the DLC alone has well over 2.5 hours, thank you very much MW2,

Crackdown 2 is no more fun to play than the first one. infact its much worse because noting is really new...

I'm thoroughly enjoying Alan Wake and surprised how good it is given the time it has taken to get released. A good storyline full of mystery and suspense.

Difficult to compare with Crackdown 2 as totally different and I would say the decision boiled down to personal preference for genre.

Crackdown 2 is very similiar to Crackdown whereas Alan Wake is Silent Hill meets Alone In The Dark although surperior to both.
