View Full Version : A way to see hours played?

Is there a way to see how many hours I've spent playing each of my games or at least the overall hours my xbox has been on? Many of my games don't have the option to show the hours spent in-game or only have that for individual saves and naturally I've deleted some...

I don't think there is. It would be nice but in another way it would be scary seeing the amount I play some weeks!

Nope, there isn't. Doubt there ever will be either.

I think that number would be counter productive to Microsoft. It is one thing to know how much time you put into your RPG character. But I would be terrified if I knew how many hourse, days, wekks, months I have played Halo.

Hell possibly even years. LOL!!!

Not on the xbox, but I found that if you sign up to Raptr, it tracks the hours you've played a game (top 6 in the last 7 days, the last month or ever). That's the only thing I ever use it for anyway. It only starts tracking from when you sign up though, so none of your existing playtime will be recorded. It's kind of useful though.

If you want to see what I mean, look at my profile and check out the 'Most Played' box on the right! ;)

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

I'd be absolutely frightened to know how much of my life I've wasted playing 360.

I agree, I like seeing play time on individual games. For all the games total would defiantly give me a scare.

X360 Voice has a feature which lets you see how many hours you have played each game, I dont know if that means they track the hours as soon as you join them or if they can only keep track of each hour after you join them.

Thanks for the answers. I guess I''ll check out raptr and x360 voice when I have the time... The reason I'd like to know my hours is the fact that our tv has over 1500 hours in it's log(bought last december) and I'd like to know my part of that :Angel

you wont be able to find that out

both sites will only track the time played AFTER you register

Being a PC gamer at heart and spoilt rotten by steam with this sort of thing, I've been keeping my own log of time spent since getting my 360.

Insanely sad, I know!

Well I guess it's better late than never...

EDIT: The other part of my curiosity is over 1000 hours logged in xfire

For the same reason casino's don't have clocks, the Xbox 360 does not have a way to see how many hours you've been logged on to your system.

I think I'd be quite scared if I ever saw my total play time...

LOL yeah this is a scary scary thought but I must admit I would be very curious to see how much of my life I have wasted playing 360. Even scarier would be to add up all hours spent on all consoles over the years I have been playing video games. Something I would love to know but also something I would probably be happy to forget.

I'd rather know I spent 50 hours playing video games than 50 hours watching TV.
Or 50 hours staring at clothes I can't have.
Or 50 hours Chat Rouletting.

Which I don't.

Well said. I play a lot of 360/PC but hardly ever watch TV. I probably play less 360 than some of my friends watch TV.

I remember during my WoW playing days you could do a /played and see to the second how much time you had spent playing that character. I think my main got up to something like 160 days. And I was considered a casual player!

Fairly certain I'll never get anywhere near that again with any single game, but I am interested to keep a tally and see if my entire 360 times ever get anywhere near!
