I was thinking about it the other day, and this is a thread to find all of the instances where a band/artist has put out a record that had the same name as the band and a song named after them. So if you looked on your iPod while the song was playing, it would say the same thing 3 times. For example I can think of 3 of these instances:

Band:Iron Maiden
Album:Iron Maiden
Song:Iron Maiden

Band:Black Sabbath
Album:Black Sabbath
Song:Black Sabbath

Band:Bad Company
Album:Bad Company
Song:Bad Company

How many more can you guys think of? :)

Fleetwood Mac's "Fleetwood Mac" (from the album The Original Fleetwood Mac)

I know several that are matching band and song names, but there are very few albums that complete the pattern...

Slipknot
Beastie boys
Blue Oyster Cult
Snoop Dogg
D.O.A.
G-Unit
etc...

By the way I don't like Fleetwood Mac... or D.O.A.

Beastie Boys never released an album called 'Beastie Boys'.

Same goes for G-Unit.

Just wondering, but is this the same song that Five Finger Death Punch re-did?

Snoop Dogg's first album was called Doggystyle, and I don't think there's a song called snoop dogg on it.

Scars on Broadway (the song is a bonus one) and Hellyeah.
