Hi all.

On the old EAFW site you could download the videos as flv files, then easily upload them to youtube.

This year they are using swf files, and whilst I worked out how to save it, I can't convert it properly as the file only seems to play from the EA site.

Does anyone know how I can get this youtube friendly without having to video them myself on my phone?

I really wanted to have a full virtual pro goal showcase this season on youtube.

Please help you technical people. :P

SWF is usually the extension used by "Flash" - so it's more or less still the same type of file, not that much of a difference to FLV.

http://www.geovid.com/flash_to_video_encoder/ - that might work with it. However, how did you manage to download it from the site?

I did, it plays the "loading" bar over and over and that's it, I have a 175KB file downloaded - is that too low?

Weird. It opens a terms and conditions agreement and then lets me download them to my desktop.

edit: Can you right-click and save target as, on 'Download'

Lemme check.

OK right, lets me download them on IE but not Firefox. Even so when it downloads and plays in VLC player it has no sound.

Ah that'll be why then - I am viewing them here:

Need to use that site then. :P

Thanks.
