Disturbed! No doubt about it!
Every album is awesome!
Every song rules!

Rammstein are good.
Linkin Park are ok..
Disturbed are the best!

Weird comparison of bands. But I'll go with Disturbed.

How can you even compare these bands?
I mean, honestly, how?

That's like if I asked people if they preferred Cannibal Corpse or Vampire Weekend.

I was going to say Rammstein but the only reason there so famous if from there reputation as 'The Freaky German Band' with there music videos as porn and there concerts with dildos and sex. Dont get me wrong, there music is good, but they need to focus more on there music.

So i voted Disturbed, there the most established.

Linkin Park inevitably loses because their new albums are shit.

So disturbed Vs Rammstein...well since i don't know to much German i'm gonna pick Disturbed lol

All of them aren't that amazing. Though, out of the three, I'd say that Linkin Park is better and had a more successful career.

Down With the Sickness is a more popular song than Linkin Park's whole career lmao

All of Disturbed's songs sound the same.

Linkin Park are just... Shit, and for emos.

Rammstein are superior.

That's like if I asked people if they preferred Cannibal Corpse or Vampire Weekend.

This is what I was going to say.

They don't use Mike Shinoda nearly as much anymore. He gets about a song or two on each album now. He's the only reason I've ever loved Linkin Park.

I've seen both Rammstein and Linkin Park in concert- Rammstein was much better in concert. I like both of their older stuff the same so the edge for me goes to Rammstein.

I can't comment too much on Disturbed, I'm not a fan and have never seen them in concert.

1. Disturbed
2. Linkin Park
3. Rammstein

Something like that.

I voted for both Linkin Park and Disturbed. Before A Thousand Suns Linkin Park would have taken it easily, but that I simply cannot exclude from the equation. I like Disturbed quite a lot too, although like someone said almost all their shit sounds the same. Never heard of the other.

Disturbed, because they have successfully made new albums without changing so much as to put me off.

Linkin Park comes second because I just can't seem to take a liking to their new album, and Minutes to Midnight was O.K.

Rammstein is bleh with two or so songs, but I can't listen to much of them because their German...

Linkin Park hasn't had a more successful career? Like I said, I don't really care for any of these bands but, it's pretty apparent to me that Linkin Park has had a more successful career than both of these bands.

Let's look at this:

Linkin Park

Hybrid Theory- 10x Platinum
Meteora- 4x Platinum
Minutes to Midnight- 2x Platinum
A Thousand Suns- Gold

Disturbed

Down with the Sickness- 4x Platinum
Believe - 2x Platinum
Ten Thousand Fists - 2x Platinum
Indestructible- Platinum
Asylum-

And you don't really have to know German to like the music, that shit gets me pumped.

I voted for LP & Disturbed!

They are both as good as each other IMO, for me anyway.

Linkin Park's new album a thousand suns was very strange when i 1st listened to it as it is very far from the sounds of "Hybrid Theory" but it has grown on me so much, a very new style they have grown into!

Wretches & Kings is definitely a stand out track on the album :woop:

lol i'm not hurt because Linkin Park's musical style appeals to more people obviously since it's Rap/rock. I do have a friend who listens to Rammstein and i will admit a lot of their songs seem pretty good i'm just saying if it was english i would like it more.

Disturbed isn't my favorite band. I just really like their music a lot lol. Also i loved the look of their new CD so.

reasons why i don't like Linkin Park is because they are straying to far away from their old shit. Which i can understand them wanting to mix up their music but it's for the worse.

Rammstein. Mainly because I used to listen to them in my German lessons in school and college. My excuse was that listening to it was helping me =P

Still doesn't deter the fact that Linkin Park has had a more successful career though, despite making shitty music.

I never said musicians should never get compensated. I just think it's a ridiculous that you're getting fucked over when you want to support your band. There's actually some recent statistics that show that bands actually make more with piracy and that piracy is only hurting labels. And plus, there have been a numerous amount of grass roots type bands that release their albums for free and still make a decent living with merchandise and ticket sales.

This.

Ever noticed how it's always the bands that already have all the money that complain about pirating? You never hear about underground bands complaining about it.

Yeah. Bands like U2 and Metallica have generated over a billion dollars each in revenue - and they still gripe about money.

I tend to enjoy bands that make music just to make music.

While true, bands are supported by record labels because of sells. If everyone pirates it, there are technically no sales and thus, the termination of a contract. Having said that, record labels should mostly die.

Such hostility.

Well, after listening to listening I can easily say that Disturbed doesn't care about their music. I could give some examples, but that might stray away from the OP and you'd just get more angry.

Piracy? What if I said that I spend at least $10,000/year on concerts, merch, and music festivals? Would that deter your opinion that I don't support bands?

The money they get from merch and concerts is still given to them. If someone downloads a album for free, they might end up liking what they hear and go buy tickets for merch, concert tickets, and other goods.

Hell, some artists and bands even purposely release their entire album for free online. Would it be considered piracy then?

I would be saying Linkin Park. But Minutes To Midnight (overall) was a baaaad album. Every other album is amazing and I love them very much.

Disturbed have 4 fantastic albums and 1 meh album (Indestructible).

Out of those 3 I only listen to Linkin Park mainly because of Mike Shinoda, but I would say that Disturbed is way better than Wankstein... I mean Rammstein.

1) Linkin Park
2) Disturbed
3) Rammstein

Let's see... I have 120,000 songs on my iTunes library. Songs are what, like a dollar each on iTunes? I'm pretty sure you're smart enough to do the math.

And for the record, I'm definitely not poor. I just don't like throwing my money around like confetti. Consumerism, especially in America, is a plague.

And back on topic.
