Crackdown and Left 4 Dead 2. Those last rings and orbs in Crackdown were a real drag. I started that game before I learned to keep track of my collectibles when starting a new game. Ugh.

Guitar Hero II. Not that I didn't think I was good enough, but because I didn't think my brother was good enough to help me get the 1 mil on Free Bird. He really impressed me, and with that achievement I finished up the game :D

Assassin's Creed II and Batman: Arkham Asylum.

I never thought I'd end up collecting all of those feathers, but I found a map online and spent a lazy Saturday collecting them.

Those AA challenges kept tripping me up, too, but I eventually beat them.

Without a doubt, it would have to be Divinity 2, that game shoved game over in my face so many times, i had to just chip away at it piece by piece, eventually it went from a game that I felt like I wouldnt even be able to finish. to one that I pulled out the 1000 on.

probably RDR. just seemed so tedious. but i actually loved every second of it. the liars and cheats was fucking terrible, but i 100%'d regardless. very proud to have 1300/1300 in the game.

Probably L4D. I almost gave up on expert at one point and I have given up on expert for the second one.

Corrupt.

I never thought I'd have the patience to 1000 PES6, but I grinded it out eventually.

PS, this should really be in the games forum :)

I have to say Dead Rising. I played it back in 2006 on my cousin's 360 (he let me do an account there, which laid dormant 'till last year), but it pissed me off within the hour of playing it. Fast forward to this year and I decided to give the game another go; at first I just wanted to play it for the story, but after some cursing I just went ahead and got the whole thing. Even managed to survive for 9 days, 'till I died 'cause I fell asleep :p

Battlefield: Bad Company. I never knew the game had 2 ridiculous achievements when I picked it up. I was originally content with 945, but I eventually managed to get the 10002 kills and all the awards, it took forever.

COD 4...Simply because I just put the game down and wasn't ever going to pick it up again. But, while I was waiting for MW2 to release I started up again and just decided to conquer the last few missions that I had. It was an amazing feeling...and it actually wasn't even THAT difficult.

Recently managed to get the 'Run the Gauntlet' achievement and finish RE5 with 1400/1400. Hadn't touched it in over six months so I was feeling very good about that, especially since I went solo.

For me it would be these:

Mortal Kombat Vs DC - I hated the game and it was insanely hard, but in the end I decided to go for it, and actually really enjoyed it in the end.

Ninja Gaiden 2 - Master Ninja mode was insane, but after some tactical assessment, and some patience/luck, I finished it coming 2nd place in the world!

FarCry 2 - Gring grind grind.....I bought this game on release and hated it, the first was pure genius, but the second sucked so much, I shelved it for nearly 2 years, and then decided to give it one more go, ended up being the right choice as not only did I 1000 it, but I ended up actually loving the single player.

Oblivion, I even did it in one play though, I completed the DLC, which I was well chuffed with, but then I guess another on would be Borderlands, even though I find some of the DLC nearly damn impossible, and it's not 100% any more :/

well first off congrats on ninja gaiden 2 and mk vs dc thats insane!

well my main ones probably fifa 10. just looking at it and what it required i just wasnt even gonna try. but then i played it alot as i enjoy fifa games and got my last achievement by playing a team with every league

also to a lesser extent soulcalibur 4

also i havent done it yet but i never considered doing blur. i add it since ive done all the online acheivements and i feel i can do any offline acheivement in a game i like

also its not hard, but since i got lego batman with the console i didnt have a massive desire to play it. but i finished the main story then left it. however when i didnt have any other games at the time i decided to pick it up again and get everything

I never thought I would ever 1000 Resonance of Fate, I just stuck to it since at the time I didn't have any other new game to play. It took forever to 100 % I never want to do it ever again :)

Shellshock 2: Blood Trails. Why do you ask? Because the game was fucking horrible. It felt like such a chore to get through, and then to have to play it a second time to max out the 1k, was just pure torture.

Frontlines: Fuel Of War also has a similar place, but with the added multiplayer crap. Although the game is definitely better than Shellshock 2 at least.

The Darkness, Dark Sector, Condemned 2, Overlord 1 and 2 because of the dead multiplayer. Thank God for this site and reliable boosters :).

Bulletwitch, Conan, and Dead Rising because of the multiple playthroughs you need to max each game out. Especially 1 freakin point for Hell Mode In Bulletwitch .

On the flip side Left 4 dead was pretty easy for me to max out. I always had reliable teammates who communicated very well with each other. The only annoying ones to get were obviously the glitchy ones like Slippery Pull and Jumpin Jack Flash (requires you to use a local server to get them). Of course with the DLC out it's not maxed out for me anymore, or anyone for that matter (since Sacrifizzle is completely glitched for everyone).

Wanted Weapons of Fate

Though in all fairness 90% of the games I play I never think I'll 1000d, despite having over 100k gamerscore I really don't care or play games specifically for achievements

Only time I ever go into a game aiming for the full 1000 is when its a WWE game or Spiderman/Marvel

Dead Rising (did not want to keep the system on for 14+ hours for 7 Day Survivor) and Left 4 Dead 2 (was worried about 4v4 Versus and Parish on Expert). Feels great to have those out of the way.

although a simple game and easy 1000....Lego Star Wars TCS....its just such a drag to get to 100%

very happy to finally get it. I've been getting myself pumped up for Forza 2 and 3 as well as Assassins Creed (1) for a full 1000

Sorry to say your not 2nd in the world to 1000 Ninja Gaiden 2. That is unless I'm first. But again congrats on it. I really admire your GS/completion percentage ratio.

I havent played a game that I didnt think I would 1000 as of yet.

Sega Rally Revo ....

Not only did I not think I'd beat the game but I didn't think I'd have an xbox left to play with. I'm surprised the disc was playable ... I once took it out and spat at it and flung it across the room.

3 controllers later ...I got it.
