Well there are teams for the GSL crap that is going on right now, but other then that I don't think there is an "official" team for x360a in general. I'm sure the idea has been brought up before but has been turned down by the hiearchy.

There isn't an official team for games like Call of Duty, you're allowed to recruit people for clans either.

We tried out a clan years ago which, after several attempts, didn't work out. I think the idea was permanently knocked on the head after that.

it would take great dedication and of course you would need people that are most likely in the same time zone or play at the same time no matter where you are to keep it together AND NONE of you could fall in love with someone or thats the team F'd

That's the first problem that immediately draws itself out.
X360A is full of people from all parts of the world. It's not like a small clan with 20 to 30 people, if not less. To have everyone from one time zone is totally not fair for everyone else not in that time zone.

Timezones was a big problem for everyone last time. We tried to accommodate for US/UK gamers but then you had all the guys in Asia/Australia/Middle East etc. running the risk of missing out, thus meaning not everyone could game together like a proper clan should.

With as many members as there was it was hard to keep organised and not everyone could get a clan game.

It was a good idea but I think too elite for a site as public as this. The only other option would be to have a group picked by site staff to represent the site as a clan but that would be unfair on the rest.

Like I said before I think Minty knocked the whole clan thing on it's head and laid the law for it never to be attempted again.

The only way to really sort that issue would then to have more than one team but seeing as it looks like it aint ever going to happen prob no point in talking about it
